Hi there.
Waypoint is not 5 star. The property is
dated and typical of the older FIFO accommodation. This is not a complaint.
However, being a smaller camp, you get to experience a great relationship with the staff.
I give these guys 5 stars every day.

Cheers.

If you’re a FIFO worker, I recommend staying elsewhere. This place is right next to a pub, and the walls are so thin that you can hear everything—even quiet conversations. The noise at night is a big issue, with people drinking nearly every evening. One night, I could hear someone stumbling, running to the washroom, and it wasn’t pleasant. But the real deal-breaker for me was the laundry—none of the machines worked.

For someone like me, who values a good night’s rest, this place just didn’t cut it.

I’m giving 2 stars solely for the great food and the friendly staff.

No sleep for nightshifters here.. food is scarce bland & colder side of luke warm. No grill option for chicken or fish only steak so if you dont eat red meat your eating out of its minimal crib selection. Just junk food in the 3 shelves that is the shop. Theres no bus avl. to town too far to walk & on highway.. gates are locked 8pm-4am need to ph. security. Worst camp Ive stayed in at Port Hedland.

Small camp, staff were friendly, food was good, less of a choice than some other bigger camps but good quality, rooms were clean, bed and pillow were comfortable, some noise from the airport, but earplugs sorted that out, overall pretty good.

Definitely the worst camp in Port Hedland . Washing machines are always busted . No Foxtel as said on website. Rubbish food and your choice of Road trains or planes for a try at a decent night’s sleep. Not sure where the renovation money went but it certainly wasn’t on the camp . No Stars

This hell vellage is worst than any very worst backpecker. Ear plugs are very mandatory if you want to sleep, Pre-heated limited low quality food.

If your employer do not want you to work for them any more, this is the place they book you for your stay.
