We stayed 3 nights in the new unit at front of the property. Lovely, clean and cozy. We had an enjoyable stay and great spot to see the area from. The communication was excellent and instructions clear.
The kitchen would benefit from a couple of bowls to use in microwave and a strainer.
Also, whilst the bed is super comfy, it is pushed tight against one wall with only crab style walking space on the other. Extremely difficult for getting in and out especially for a late 60’s and 70 year old.

I stayed last week. My unit was fully self-contained with 2 bedrooms, lounge, dining and large, fully equiped kitchen. It was beautifully appointed, fully air conditioned and appeared to have been very recently refurbished. The unit was spotless and I simply parked in the car port and walked straight in. Very easy.

What I loved most was that despite being only a couple of minutes walk to the centre of Esk, this community borders native bushland, a flowing creek and is in the shadow of a large, impressive mountain. It is just a beautiful and peaceful spot.

It could be the worse accommodation I rated.

The Unit is spacious and all in a very light colour. It is very very open and simple. However, it is NOT in a good way.

I should read the reviews carefully. Those gave good reviews, they had only stayed for 1 night. But I stayed for 3 nights. It was a big mistake.

I didn’t meet the hosts, Maddie and Hayles (I don’t know how others met them). But they were irresponsible. I messaged them but there had no response.

First, the lounge is very open, too open without any curtains and blinds. It faces the neighbour’s main entry. There has no privacy at all. It feels so unsecured. I used my car to block the view, at least people can’t see inside directly.

The whole living & kitchen area only has a 3 seats lounge, TV and one small table and 4 chairs. If you have 4 people, they will have to fight for a lounge seat. The dining table is very small. It won’t be enough to have dinner for 4.

The kitchen has very minimal equipment. There is only cutlery set for 4, a small frypan and a pot (seriously it is small and NOTHING else). The pan and pot are of very poor quality. It may find only in $2 shops. There has nothing else bigger than a noodle bowl.

I used the frypan for cooking. But the non-stick black layer coat on the frypan melted after oil was added. It was scary and dangerous. Also, not sure the smoke is toxic. I don’t think that cookware is safe for cooking. Anyhow, I bought one in better quality back to them.

The main bedroom has a king-size bed. But the room is very small. The dried grass on the carpet. It was dirty and filthy. There is also a clicking noise from the laundry next to the main room. It was loud all day and night.

There also had no WiFi ( I didn’t read the fine print carefully) and the phone reception was unstable.

I don’t think I will come back again and certainly I won’t recommend anyone to stay neither.

The spacious cabin was equipped with dishwasher and clothes washing machine. All kitchen necessities. Whole place clean as. Booking was easy enough.liked the quiet nestled in amongst great mountains.

We had some wedding guests accommodations cancelled due to unforeseen reasons. Staff were so helpful in trying to accommodate our guests into new rooms, fast and proactive communication. Really handled an unfortunate situation professionally. Thanks Hayles!

Nice cosy place for a relaxing overnight stop. Great facilities in proximity to everything esk has to offer and amazing mountain views.

Do not book this accommodation. I had this booked for a wedding since middle last year and they cancelled my accommodation for a March wedding at the end of January.
