Beautiful little park at the beachfront Point Vernon. Plenty to keep kids busy, then when they've had enough, it's a 20 metre walk down to the beach to find all kinds of shells, rocks, coral, etc. Great place to play or chill.

Esa park is on the beach at Pt Vernon at the north end of the Esplanade on Hervey Bay. Its shaded playgrounds with BBQ, toilets are perfect for kids, picnics and is dog friendly.
The adjacent beach is an off leash dog area. A walk at low tide revealed shells, coral, driftwood, bones and unusual rock formations.
The access from the parking area to the Park is flat making it pram and wheelchair friendly.

This spot at the top of a headland is really beautiful. Of particular note are the wonderful mangroves growing upon the beach. This is well worth the short drive from Harvey Bay.
