Stopped at the pub after a weekend of camping. Just perfect. Great friendly staff, fantastic food. Our group had the burgers and steak sandwich. All excellent. Will definitely stop here again when enjoying this part of the high country.

Came here for dinner to have the steak on hot rock, well, if there was one or two things this town was known for, it would be the great caravan park and the pub with the Steaks on the Hot Rock.

Absolutely beautiful pub, a walk back in time, easy to access and plenty of parking.
Great staff at the bar too, friendly and welcoming.
I had the porterhouse on this steaming hot stone, and cooked it to the way I want, which is the point and yet it was definitely an experience.

If you’re stopping here for lunch, dinner or the inbetween, you better stop at the pub and get a drink or the hot rock steak.

What a wonderful country pub! The staff and service were excellent, the hot rocks experience was fun and the steaks were massive. Highly recommend a visit here.

Go for the steak. I had an eye fillet, the king of steaks and it was a great cut. They use the hot rock system (stones baked to 400º) to self cook your steak. But its the quality of the steak here that makes the difference.

An absolute gem, crisp beer, fantastic food and great service.
Room was perfect, they done a pack lunch for me which would feed a horse.
Lively atmosphere for a country pub.
The staff, management and locals were terrific, friendly, genuine nice country folk.

What a great place to stay & it's a hive of activity in this family run pub. It's best to book ahead for a meal or else you might miss out. Live music on the weekend too.

Stayed here for work. Staff are very friendly, the food was great and the rooms were very clean. Would definitely stay again and would recommend anyone passing through to give it a go.
The hot rock lamb and steak are also worth a try. A+
