Trevor, this is a review for you because I know you read these religiously. Replying to negative reviews the way you do is not the way to go about things. Most of the time people don't leave negative reviews with the sole purpose of smearing the business, they have actually had a negative experience you need to reflect on. It reflects far more poorly on a business to read reviews and see the owner retaliating against anyone who has had a bad experience at their business. Spend the time you currently spend writing up essay long replies to reviews instead fixing the issues the reviews bring up.

As for my review:
Great place to go and play tabletop games, limited stock but that's understandable as Epic is a smaller local business and stock is expensive. Currently the business is advertising "Kirin Resteraunt" both outside and inside, given the store is on a main road getting a propper sign on said road should be a priority given how hard the building is to find for new people who have not been there before. While the kitchen does not work this is an issue being actively worked on and I am excited to see what food options are available once it is open.

The best place to play board, tabletop DnD, and card games in the Brisbane surrounds. I drive down from the northside each fortnight to play here. Large tables, friendly people, and an incredibly welcoming atmosphere. Staff and facilities are great. Great food options with generous portion sizes.

The shop and RPG side of the business is fine but eat before you go.

They don't allow outside food because they sell food there, which is fine, but the food is subpar (even before the move) for the price. They make the food off-site and send it to the location. I have personally waited 4 hours (yes, F O U R) for food. I didn't receive updates on the wait or why it was delayed. I never even received an apology. The staff member looked annoyed I was even asking after having already waited 3 hours (I only raised the issue at the 2 hour, 3 hour and 4 hour mark). Other attendees have also waited 2+ hours.

nice and energetic environment, the staff are warm hearted and offer mostly positive service, can be rough sometimes and the meals can take awhile, but otherwise? pretty solid place to go with friends and just have a good time

Below average food. And that was before you had to wait 3+ hours for it. Wouldn't be as bad if you could bring your own just while they were sorting it out. Also rude staff when you ask about it, also rude staff when they mess up your order. Now there's a mod who used to be a pretty cool dude before he developed a power trip, publicly calling people out in the adventure league channel in the discord server for leaving a small amount of food containers on the table after leaving, the same guy (who's names is griff on the server, i wouldn't have mentioned that but if he's ok with name-dropping people on the server I'm ok with doing it here) put I'm assuming one of the workers on blast for a bottle and a can being left on a table saying "You know cleaning of rubbish can happen during the game aswell yeah? It's not exclusive to once the game has wrapped." Dude what, talk to him in private about it don't just tag him in front of everyone to embarrass the poor guy. This is the only place I've been to where the staff get pissy for having to clean a little bit. Most of the negative reviews have been because of issues with staff, particularly with a dude with dreads, the owners keep saying it's not like him but with the amount of issues he seems to have it clearly is like him and that's just pure cope.
If this place was just a restaurant and not a game store it would probably go out of business.

The mod is still publicly shaming people for leaving containers out, the food is STILL taking over 3 hours to arrive, idk how you were unaware when I'm not the only person to leave a review about it.
My mention of the staff member that you deemed "rich" was to call out your lack of awareness and actions against this behaviour, which you clearly continue to do so.

Good place for gaming but until they open the kitchen at the actual location and not delivered from their resturant location, ordering food isn't worth it.
Food is either luke warm or cold.

It can be difficuilt to find social activities in appropriate, safe environments for young adults and adults who (like myself) are more conservative, however Epic is an all inclusive environment with friendly easy to talk to staff. Its not only a great place to participate in group activities and make friends, but also somewhere to get away from stress, do your own thing and just chill ... with great food service!!

Only been once as a big yugioh fan. Great selection of cards and stuff but rudeness is crazy. Pulling faces and arguing over things that don't matter. After reading a couple of the owners replies to other reviews I can see he is just a rude guy that refuses to accept any responsibility. Other staff member I met was nice but overshadowed by that guy. Possibly the worst customer service experience.
