We set off on a partial hike up the hill, making our way down to the dam and back. The hike took nearly 2 hours providing us ample time to enjoy the serene environment. The trails were well maintained in the natural surroundings offered a peaceful escape from the city’s hustle and bustle. It wasn’t too busy with only a few cyclist and hikers crossing our path.

Tracks all the way around the dam. Takes about 3hrs to finish. Difficult level as the elevation can be steep in some sections. But it is well worth it. Wait a least 3 days after rain to avoid mud.
Can swim, hire a kayak and paddle board here.
Remember to wear your waterproof hiking boots.

Really amazing place to bring the family and have a swim. Bring the kayaks, canoes or stand up paddle boards and enjoy the serenity. If you don't feel like a swim come for a walk around the dam. Also a skilled mountain bike track here. Get in early for the parking spaces or you will be on the road 😜 great cafe here also with amazing food and coffee ☕️

Really lovely spot, good walking and mountain bike riding paths. Swimming area seperate to water craft area. We saw lots of turtles on a walk around the dam. Discovery Centre was closed but looks good.

A beautiful spot only a short drive from the CBD. A great place for a swim and Bush walk. It is quite popular so sun baking / space is fairly limited on the dam bank. You can hire canoes and kayaks from $25 to explore the dam area. Picnic baskets can be pre ordered from the cafe but need to be placed 2 days in advance. Service was very slow so best to pack your own cold drinks and snacks.

Enoggera Dam is a lovely place to visit which is near from Brisbane CBD. The place is ideal for a single day visit. Visitors can do water sports activities such as Kayaking, Canoeing, and Paddle boarding. There are picnic areas too. Mountain bike trail and walking trail are good one as well.

It was a fantastic experience to be there and mingle with the surrounding mother nature for couple of hours. Love this place and the surrounding reserve.❤️

very beautiful place, but pretty busy. come here for some fishing, fished for hours with bait and lures only too catch some grubby eels. would be a good place for a scenic kayak or a peaceful walk, dont fish or swim because of all the disgusting eels
