I never ever leave reviews but after the way the manager of Endota Spa Terrigal spoke to me I feel inclined to. I was unable to continue my prepaid chemical peels as I am breastfeeding and was told by two clinicians, on two seperate occasions, that it was unsafe.

I emailed prior to my appointment and verbally confirmed that it was fine to swap over to a treatment that was breastfeeding friendly and was offered another facial. However at the end of my appointment, the manager caught me off guard and berated me in front of the clinicians, insinuating I was making this agreement up, passive aggressively telling me a chemical peel was in fact breastfeeding friendly.

I left my appointment nearly in tears after how she made me feel, all because she hadn’t communicated with her own staff. I’ve never had such a bad experience from a business before, I have one prepaid appointment left that I will not be attending.

Today l went to Endota Spa at Crown Plaza Terrigal and was lucky enough to be able to book Gina for a beautiful Organic Facial.
She is just so wonderful doing these treatments and also a lovely person which is an extra bonus.
Thank you Gina for a very relaxing facial and for your advice on my feet, will start tonight.
It is always a delight visiting here.

Just a note to thank Lily, the lady who attended to me on Friday 24/8/24. I had a full body massage & scrub followed by facial afterwards (2 hrs 30 min all up). As well as beautician and masseur she's also a therapist par excellence, very courteous, thorough and attentive making sure that I was comfortable throughout. With 20 years experience in China and here in Oz, how could I fail her? I'm now feeling lighter and re-energised. Will definitely go back soon for another treatment (ps: stay there Lily). Staff at the reception are very welcoming & friendly.

Prebooked two facials for a friend and I to be told on arrival that they had triple booked and only one of us could get the facial we booeked. There was no offer of compensation for their error or genuine concern over their oversight.

Despite arriving 15min early to our appointment we were not offered the client card to prefill. We were moved into our separate consultations rooms where the therapist then used the "time" to go through the client card. At this point they learnt one of us were in their second trimester of pregnancy and declined service, stating the only "safe" treatments they had were their organic range (from prior experience at this spa they are not anything special) and a pregnancy massage (however, the clinicians available today were not trained in this particular massage). Despite going through the ingredients of the facial requested (hydrafacial) and the NHMRC's stand point on these ingredients as non invasive topical treatments, service was still declined.
The ingredients the spa claimed were unsafe were glycerine, lactic acid, AHA, HA and salicylic acid. All listed as safe in topical treatments in second trimester of pregnancy in small doses. Prior to the appointment I had researched the ingredients and dosage with Endota and sought advice from medical professionals around the safety and there was no concern. The manager on the day that I spoke with declined a waiver to be signed and to speak with my GP regarding clearance. As a medical practitioner myself the stand point the spa took as to why they refused service was unjustified and really reflected the lack of training and understanding the salon has with the products and services they use.

Nil further attempt was made between either myself or my friend to resolve both issues that occurred on arrival. As a marketed "top end" spa I'd recommend spending your money elsewhere. The beauty salon on Church Street (Organika) or Dolce Vita in Erina offer a service that better understands their products and services.

Angelica gave me the most amazing massage of my life, followed by an equally impressive facial. 10/10 would recommend heading to endota terrigal to recieve this from her or any of the girls, they are all amazing. Such a relaxing and enjoyable expirence from start to finish
