I’ve booked my mum in for a few treatments at Kotara Endota, and they’re always so beautiful. However, on Saturday, I booked her in for a massage on her birthday and Mother’s Day. I booked three weeks in advance, confirmed my booking a week and a night before, and received three emails and two texts messages with the details.

When we arrived, they informed us that there were no bookings. Apparently, a man had called up and cancelled the booking that morning. I have no idea how he knew my mum’s name and what time she was booked in for. It was all very strange and made us suspect that someone internally would have cancelled without asking us.

I also always thought there was a penalty when you cancelled within 24 hours. We were left standing there with my mum on her birthday with nothing. I wish the staff were more apologetic, but they weren’t. It was clearly an Endota error, not ours, and they made it feel like ours. I’m really disappointed, upset, and feel so weird that someone called and cancelled my booking knowing my details.

Treatment was beautiful and staff were friendly and accommodating. Although only 1 star for the safety of amenities, as I dislocated and badly bruised my finger when entering the toilet by getting it jammed between the door and basin. There apparently is a sign on the back of the door but I did not see that when going in. This is no complaint to the staff but a warning to anyone who uses the amenities while there.

I’ve been through the absolute wringer lately and I didn’t know how much I needed this. Very peaceful and serene environment. Very relaxed before and after spa treatment.

Make it a part of your self care routine if you can manage it. Definitely take time out for yourself. Great service.
