We are locals we regularly stop in at your eatery for a meal?
TODAY WAS A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

Before we left (SUCH l think that was her name), a polite asian lady came an apologised and refunded the eggs for us.

WE HAD TO 1ST SEND BACK THE LEATHERY SCRAMBLED EGGS THAT WE WERE SERVED.

SO WE ORDERED A SECOND CHAI LATTE EACH AS WE HAD TO WAIT ✋️ A EXTRA LONG TIME FOR THE EGGS TO BE RECOOKED WHICH CAME OUT AS AWFUL AS THE FIRST ORDER. PLEASE SEE PICTURES.

THEN TO TOP IT OFF THE SECOND CHAI LATTES WERE ALSO COLD AND THEY HAD TO BE REMADE. THE LADY WHO BROUGHT US THE SECOND LATTES SAID THAT THEIR COFFEE MACHINE WASNT WORKING PROPERLY.

THEN WHEN THE YOUNG GIRL WITH CRIMSON HAIR BROUGHT OUT THE SECOND LOT OF EGGS SHE HAD THE POOS ABOUT OUR REQUESTS TO HAVE FOOD SERVED TO US (l GUESS), THAT WAS EADIBLE.

SHE PRACTICALLY DROPPED THE PLATE ON OUR TABLE WITH A LOUD BANG.

LAST TIME WE EAT HERE.

WE DONT APPRECIATE PAYING FOR BAD SERVICE OR BAD FOOD.

VERY RUDE YOUNG WOMAN.

OVERCOOKED HORRIBLE EGGS.

While Empire Cafe offers a welcoming space for families with its kids set-up area, I was disappointed to find an unexpected $3.50 fee attached to its use. This fee wasn't clearly communicated, which was frustrating. Despite this, the cafe lacks clarity on pricing for their babychinos, which are on the pricier side $4. Additionally, service could be improved as orders are sometimes forgotten or mixed up, and the staff's demeanor can be off-putting. However, given the limited options in town for cafes with kids' areas, especially during rainy weather, we continue to go to Empire Cafe. I suggest the cafe consider incorporating the kids' corner fee into the pricing structure or reevaluate its pricing strategy to enhance the overall customer experience.
