Our stay felt like something out of National Lampoon’s Vacation. We arrived at 7 p.m., exhausted, and checked in using the security safe beside reception, only to find it unlocked and the code unnecessary. Outside our room, a mining truck was parked directly in front, and a broken chair was discarded beside the door. The door was flaking at the bottom, scattering wooden chips inside each time it was opened. Inside, the room was stifling hot, and figuring out the outdated air conditioning required contacting after-hours reception. Even when working, the poorly positioned unit offered little relief.

Attempting to close the curtains caused both rails to fall off, and the soap dispenser broke away from the wall. I sat in the only chair, only to fall as it tipped over. A broken leg made it unusable, so I tossed it outside with the other discarded chair. The door lock was ripped off and poorly repaired, the pillows were thin and lumpy, and the bed ensembles were stained with odd reddish-brown flecks. To top it off, the pool was green, murky, and completely inoperable. The entire experience was disappointing from the moment we arrived.

The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Cockroaches greeted me at the door before walking in to my stinking hot room. On entering I heard the shower running but was unable to turn it off. I was told a plumber was coming to fix (so they knew there was a problem) but after two sleepless nights they never came.

Restaurant seemed to be permanently closed. The pool was a lovely green colour with rust and dirt sitting on the bottom.

Good location but not worth the bugs / running taps / lack of maintenance to ammenities.

I enjoyed my short stay here. The rooms are nice and spacious. The WiFi worked really well and the amenities were clean. I accidentally locked myself out and the man who got me back in my room was lovely and friendly. I will be staying here again for sure.

Bed slides along Lino. No spare pillows or warm blankets. Water pipes make loud noises. Coffee cups are too small.
The photo of the chair at the end of the bed, I put there hoping the bed would stop sliding but didn’t do much.

These 2 pictures perfectly summarise the cleanliness and condition of the room. Front of house staff are lovely. But this place is run down, 20 years past due for renovations and generally a very unpleasant experience. Mattress was as hard as a rock, aircon impossible to sleep with it on, rattle from the fridge, and a leaking shower. The cockroach in the picture was 1 of 3 that kept me company in my room for the night.

Rooms old dispite a messy repaint, Restaurant won't be open until late this year but plenty of options as in cbd and Coles across road, previous guest towls were still hanging on back of bathroom door, fridge was very noisy, a bed base sheet had an obvious stain. I would have liked more than two pillows for the two of us to help sit up in bed. Good service at reception and we had plenty of hot water.

I normally try to remain positive when writing a review. Sorry I could not on this. We booked online to stay here on the 28/12/2022 because of the pictures and pool. What we walked into was nothing but disappointment. The rooms were dirty, the taps leaked, the toilet cracked and badly scratched up on the seat. There was live cockroach in the bathroom, power points were behind your pillows and the bed was so painful, the sheet’s dirty, there was blood on the sheets and we had to dust the dirt and bark out before climbing in. If there was a blanket I would have slept on top. I had red pressure marks in the morning and I only weight 56kg. I tried to see the manager in the morning but the reception door was still locked even though she was inside. I would strongly suggest revamping the rooms before continuing with changing the colours of the reception area. Despicable condition for $218.00 for the night. Have pictures

Disgraceful. I booked this place for a colleague and I’m disgusted with the feedback. Blood stained sheets, cockroaches and bugs everywhere. Old rundown furniture and very old room that could use a coat of paint. About 20 years overdue for upgrade. Avoid!
