The rooms are in need of a Reno, the floors are a bit squishy in some places and the amenities in the rooms leave a bit to be desired but, they are clean, neat and tidy. Beautiful location, perfect for couples and families. The staff were so friendly and ready to help at all times. Very relaxing feel, such an amazing stay!

Such a beautiful place , I don’t think it is worth what we paid, I know they were damaged from floods and doing all the cabins up , I just think it would be fair if the crappy cabins are discounted, I know it is the peak season but if this park had no beach it would not be that nice. But a lovely pub across the road staff are so friendly at the park and pub. Great entertainment . I will still be coming back soon with my nieces and nephews and grand parents . I would be happy to pay the price if I stayed in the done up units. Which I have and so worth the price . Anyway it was a great trip thank you Ellis beach park. Also water pressure in shower was very weak and hardly any hot water but the kitchen sink was very hot. . Don’t plan to sleep on a sofa bed if your adults. Not very comfortable but the main bed was beautiful and the pillows weren’t stick. Was very clean as well

Had no idea how big and beautiful this van park is.
We came for a wedding, and our campsite ended up being so far away from everybody else, but the staff were more than happy to let us move up to the northern end where our friends were staying in the rooms.
The food at the bar & grill was fantastic, the venue is nice and relaxed. Probably could have used a 2nd person behind the bar because wait for drinks was long. But that was probably what was paid for by the wedding funds anyway 😅
Highly recommend staying here, even just to stop quickly for a meal or a drink

We stumble a pond this Ellis caravan park by accident but least to say it was a hidden paradise we had a really enjoyable relaxing time here, we liked it that much we return for our last 2 nights in cairns the staffs were great place was clean on a daily beach front view to wake up too fall asleep to the sounds of the waves crashing palm trees infront of us, camp site was clean and tidy very impress toilet showers and cooking facilities were in great Nic. Thank you team and staffs for your great work to look after the place that makes our stay pleasurable

Absolutely love dbl bed ocean front cabins w internal shower & catered kitchen. Stunning beach views. Two mins walk to the beach. Glorious sunsets. Coin operated laundry avail. Pool close by. Car park next to cabin. Bring insect repellent

Powered site. We drove past here a few years ago, and thought what a dump.
We are pleased to see new owners and a revamp. Cleanest older ablution block we have seen on our travels. Our dog loved his daily swim in the sea. The pub and grill across the road is a must too

We stayed in a Motorhome site in the middle row near the amenities. The site was of good size and had imitation grass on the slab, as much as I dislike imitation grass it was excellent being so close to the beach. |Ellis Beach is a nice protected spot, we went for numerous walks along the beach everyday with our dog (Mabi). |The only negative was the keypad on the amenities block kept jamming. |We had a great time we will definitely return. |Sarah & Suzey of SimpleSlowRoad.

Was forced to walk 1.5kms, with a sprained knee, to use the bathroom since the man cleaning the showers refused to let me quickly use the toilet. The door code to the toilet randomly stops working and instead of helping, the receptionist lady told us we were the issue. The camping spots are really cramped and if you’re camping near the water people will always be walking through your campsite. I wouldn’t recommend sleeping in a tent here as the road backing the campsite is super loud at night and the outdoor lights stay on all night. A really beautiful spot to camp but sadly the customer service ruins it.
