My husband & I recently spent a very comfortable night at Ellerslie House so we could visit the spring flowers.
It was my second visit & again had a very warm welcome from David & a refreshing tea & biscuits on the verandah.
After enjoying a spa bubble bath & a delicious Greek meal nearby, we returned to find port & chocolates waiting for us in the lounge - a perfect end to the day!
The bed was very comfortable so we enjoyed a good night’s sleep. After a morning walk around the neighbourhood to admire the old colonial style architecture, we enjoyed a delicious & beautifully prepared breakfast.
Tracey is a good cook!
Ellerslie House is full of old world charm & antiques which make it a delight to explore. David & Tracey are wonderful hosts who make sure you’re made to feel special. We’d highly recommend a stay here!

It’s always a special occasion now for me whenever I visit Toowoomba because I only stay at Ellerslie House. Before I discovered Ellerslie House, I would reluctantly stay at one of the over-priced hotels in town that are more akin to a hospital.

By contrast, Ellerslie House epitomises comfort and service. The gracious hosts, Tracey and David are sincere and caring and ensure a warm welcome, a delicious breakfast, and a very enjoyable stay.

Other than the excellent service, the property itself is spectacular. The home has a grandeur from a bygone era and provides comforts and elegance I thought lost in time.

I wouldn’t stay anywhere else when I’m in Toowoomba, and catching up with Tracey and David has become a highlight of my visits to Toowoomba.

My husband and I had the most marvellous stay here for three days. All the rooms in this lovingly restored grand old home have been beautifully fitted out with appropriate furniture. Our spacious bedroom was extremely comfortable. Breakfasts were outstanding served by our hosts David and Tracey - a lovely and hospitable couple who make you feel at home.

A truly excellent experience - the house is beautifully renovated and exquisitely furnished and decorated. David and Tracy are exceptional hosts and will treat you like royalty with treats and a full breakfast experience included. We return as regulars now as there is nothing better in this fine city. One of Toowoomba's best restaurants is a short walk away - Gip's , which is another attraction . Do yourself a favour and stay there.....

We have just returned from 2 amazing nights at Ellerslie House in Toowoomba. We were totally spoilt with a beautiful luxurious suite, amazing service, fantastic coffee & breakfast each morning served in the dining room. The attention to detail is superb! My friend and I booked for two nights for the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers. From the moment of booking, Tracey and David were most welcoming. In arrival, we sat on the balcony and enjoyed Gluten Free Muffins and a Banana and Walnut Cake with a pot of tea. I was in Room 2, a Four Poster Bedroom with ensuite and my friend was in Room 3, also with an ensuite. Both rooms also had a TV, tea and coffee making facility and all bathroom amenities were provided. There was a fridge in the Breakfast Room for our own drinks. The whole place was spotless and lovingly restored and maintained, including the wonderful gardens. We loved the breakfasts and the port and chocolates set for us in the Drawing Room each evening on our return from dinner. It’s the best B&B I’ve been to and will definitely return. Thanks for being so welcoming and friendly! ❤️

A perfect stay! The house is fantastic and the hosts are wonderful. We stayed for three nights, and the room was fantastic, lots of room, comfortable bed, we had a spa bath with bubble bath and crystals waiting to be used. Quiet street and close to restaurants and sights.

A magnificent B&B, one of the very best. We were in the very spacious king suite (room 1), super comfortable bed and wonderfully equipped. We enjoyed time in the lounge with the open fire, gourmet breakfasts in the dining room with another fire, and we especially enjoyed the hospitality that David and Tracey provide. The house itself ought be on the list of Toowoomba’s top attractions. Lovingly restored and furnished. We hope to return!
