I attended the Permaculture & Urban Organic Food Growing workshop at Ella’s Farm yesterday.
And what a delight it was!
Ella is such a beautiful person, her joy evident as she shared her extensive knowledge with us all.
I learnt so many practical tips that I can begin to implement right away….
Including “mulch, mulch, mulch”!

The farm tour was very inspiring, giving me even more ideas for my urban space….
Oh, & did I mention the food?
What a spread!
We even got to take home some rosemary, snow pea seeds to sprout ? and a pineapple ? top to plant.
A fantastic day!
Now, into the garden ?

I had the most amazing weekend. Ella is beautiful and she went out of her way to look after us and another 20+ people . The food is amazing. The farm tour was mind blowing. And making aircrete bricks and help building her dome was life changing. Thankyou Ella from Frank and torie Walsh..

My partner and I spent a lovely couple of hours at Ella's farm. We had a very informative tour of the farm with Ella, were taught about the permaculture principles being used on the farm and met a handsome bunch of Alpaca's. We then had wine tasting and a beautiful picnic courtesy of Libby, perched on top of a hill looking down on the Gold Coast. I could not recommend Ella's farm enough. Ella, Libby and Kevin the dog were the perfect hosts. Thanks so much, we will be back 🙂

I was lucky enough to experience the amazing team and the incredible views at Ella's Farm. Complete with the most delicious picnic and organic wine, it was a dream afternoon spent with my family. Then receiving a farm tour from Ella herself, sharing so much knowledge, it was such great inspiration to get our veggie garden going again, learnt a lot. A couple of months ago I popped the question to my partner of 5 years at Ella’s Farm. I genuinely can’t thank Libby and the entire team at Ella’s Farm enough for everything they did for one of the most special moments of our lives! Libby helped my plan for this proposal come to life, organising everything in advance, creating the set up and somehow making the surprise so special. The permaculture Farm was the perfect, most beautiful location and everything turned out even better than I could’ve ever expected. Can’t recommend this location enough for any event you’re planning once things open back up. Will definitely be returning for multiple picnic afternoons or a permaculture design course in future!

I did the 7 week Permaculture Design course and it was amazing. Ella's infection passion and excitement for teaching the way of life that is Permaculture was brilliant. I have learnt so much and have been able to put it into my every day life!
