Always a lovely experience visiting Eliza’s Place! I first discovered Eliza’s 8 years ago and since then I am pleased to say they have outdone themselves in maintaining consistency. Consistently delivering kindness with every meal, the staff here provide amazing meals and you can tell each is made with love. I can highly recommend the orange and almond cake and also the coconut ice from the cabinet! From the menu, the avocado on toast is not only delicious but so aesthetically pleasing. The staff always treat customers with respect, and personally, as someone with multiple dietary requirements, they have always tried to accomodate me as best as possible. Thank you Eliza’s Place for keeping me, and so many regulars fed and happy!

I have been going to Eliza's Place for years. Love it. I would call the cafe good quality traditional. Not modern - that is high praise. I particularly like the big breakfast and savoury mince breakfast, but I like the other meals as well.

Never trust a coffee place that takes orders as '"eXpresso". It's my fault, Ihould have known at that point and walked out the door. Got what I would describe as a short long black kind of something. Had 1 sip, straight to the bin.

My first visit to Eliza's Place this morning but it won't be the last. What a lovely, welcoming sparkling clean cafe! The service was friendly and efficient and the savoury mince was delicious.

With the high rating, I was very disappointed with the food. We ate from their lunch menu: quiche with veg and mash and gravy (with quiche); and cottage pie with veg. Both dishes were served with overcooked frozen vegetables. The quiche was decent, but the cottage pie was bland and became an effort to eat (even with gravy). It reminded me of hospital food, but I had better meals at the Wesley cafeteria. The food at Eliza's, unfortunately, is overrated and much overpriced.

The cafe was busy with regulars who chatted with the friendly staff on a first name basis. It may be that the coffee and tea experience is better, but I can not recommend the lunch.

I went to Eliza’ Place often when I worked near by.
I have given this coffee shop 5 stars due to the fact that each time I went to buy my “takeaway”cappuccino or mocha it was always made well.
I have never received a flat white or very bland coffee. Some coffee makers seem to think that just because you order a “takeaway” coffee they don’t have to pay much care and attention into making your coffee properly. By putting the lid on your coffee they can get away with serving you a badly made “takeaway” cup of coffee. Yuk!

Tucked away from the busy street is this neat little cafe! Been here twice for take-away mocha and each time it is spot-on superb! The barista here does an amazing job! Take away cups are fantastic as well! So nice to have a cup that is thick enough that not only does it retain the coffee temperature but the heat doesn't burn your hand. The morning just starts great when you know you can have excellent coffee on the run! Will definitely come back for a dine-in. Service here is always so friendly and welcoming! Do try this place if you love a good coffee!
