Dropped in on a trip from Sydney. Brother and dad's local fave spot. The truffle mushrooms on roast with poached egg absolutely hit the spot - the confit garlic was perfect, eggs perfectly jammy, and all the flavours worked really well together. I added bacon bacon why not? Staff are super friendly, genuinely connecting with customers and providing great service. Also. The. Coffee. Was. Amazing! Cannot recommend this place enough!

Love the coffee love the staff, but, the prices go up and up and size of toastie goes down and down. Last 5 toasties are getting smaller. $14 + ham cheese and tomato. Disappointing. Won't be buying them anymore. 😌

"Elixir" by name and by nature. Great coffee. Popular for a good reason. Indoor and outdoor seating with plenty of young friendly staff on hand. It's a fresh and clean space. There's food on offer with my favourite cafe meal so..

The quest for Brisbane's best traditional Eggs Benedict continues..

When I asked if there was any spinach etc on their version the server replied no and I reiterated "no greenery". Still comes with greenery.

You were so close to full marks as a traditional recipe. Runny gooey goodness. Excellent hollandaise but not enough for every bite. Ended up eating dry sourdough to finish. Good portion of packet salmon. It doesn't happen often but my salmon had a bone in it. Shouldn't have made it to my plate.
My table server asked how my meal was. When I showed staff that the bone was present I was immediately offered another coffee for free. Excellent staff and training.

None the less, I was happy to see this on the menu. If you're getting work done on a vehicle or even passing through this is a lovely little shop for a stop.

Coffee smells delicious - large capacity roaster next door - lots of coffee bean flavours you can choose - food very tasty with the sourdough focaccia and tasty sandwiches. Also fruit smoothies a bit expensive but worth it.

It's very DELICIOUS. I had chicken quesadilla and my husband had eggs Benedict with ham and toast. Double espresso was fantastic. We will come back again.

What an amazing experience. My friend and I went on Saturday after our training. I have been having some troubles with my coffee machine at home.
I spoke to one of the staff at the counter if I could get some assistance with the coffee and the struggles I was having at home with my machine.

It turned out to be the manager. She was bubbly and welcoming. (Caring). She decided that she was going to grab the owner and get him to give me a hand.

Within 10 minutes we had the owner of the cafe/ coffee beans ELIXIR and the manager at our table chatting about my problem and how I could fix it.

The end result after a 10 minute discussion was he gave me fantastic coffee making advice and a 250gm coffee sample for FREE!!!

Because of his care, love for coffee and his customers. I will now be buying ELIXIR coffee moving forward.

Thank you so much 🙂 you have helped make my mornings great through a lovely coffee at home .

Good cafe to visit if you’re in the area!

Chai was sweet and yummy- ordered an extra hot and came out drinkable still- so maybe even just a touch hotter would’ve been nice.

Staff are on the ball, bathroom is clean, brownie was good. There was an option to heat it up too.

Amazing food and brilliant coffee too 💯🙌🏾 and the staff are very friendly and definitely worth visiting 😊
