Today my husband and I had the pleasure of High Tea created by hand by Christina. We ate delectable canapés and pastries over a 2 hr period. Beautifully presented in an old house which was originally the nurses quarters to the local hospital. Adavale is in the middle of nowhere and to find such sophistication all the way out here in the bush was remarkable. There’s no menu because it all depends on what ingredient she can get her hands on. Thankyou Christine for such a treat!

Wow....quaint, quirky, and exquisite, Our high tea was amazing. Cristina puts so much love into her tasty creations. Not only was the food fantastic but so too the ambience of the Elegant Emu which pops with fun (love the emu artwork and chandeleir), the splashes of colour and intricate touches that provide a truly wonderful experience. Imagine if you will, travelling through a neighbouring town and hearing about a fabulous PATISSERIE located over 115 kilometers away but being inspired enough to drive along a partiality dirt road to the tiniest town imaginable that gives BIG!
Adavale is the gateway to Hell Hole National Park it is also home to the very epervessant Christina and her PATISSERIE called Elegant Emu. It really was a pleasure to meet Christina and listen to her story of procuring, preparing from scratch, cooking and serving food that Christina genuinely has a natural passion along with talent for.
Coffee, cakes, savouries, high tea, gifts, souvenirs and more.
