This Cafe has such a homely and friendly feel. I stopped past after a last minute car spill disaster and whilst waiting, treated myself to a coffee. The coffee was perfect and the staff were lovely. You can feel the sense of community they have built here amongst the locals. It is a real hidden treasure.

Looking forward to returning ?

Can definitely see why this cafe is popular with the locals. Ordered the breakfast wrap and a mocha. Plenty of seating inside and outside under the shaded umbrellas. Staff were very quick and didn't wait too long for order to arrive. The breakfast wrap was stuffed with eggs, sausage, hash brown and bacon with bbq sauce. Was very filling and delicious although I felt the price ($18) was little high for a common burrito wrap with cheap ingredients. Fortunately the wrap was very generously filled so the price did feel a little reasonable. Menu is very big, with one side for breakfast items and the other side being their lunch items ranging from burgers to ribs. Will definitely come back to try their lunch menu which I'm sure will be delicious too. All in all it was a delicious but pricey breakfast in total a little over $25 for a wrap and coffee but guess these are the times we are living in now.

I visited the El’amore cafe during a weekday morning as I was in the area and fancied some breakfast.

I arrived around 8:30 and ordered a bacon and egg roll and a soy flat white and I went to sit down.

After a few minutes there was some confusion over whether or not I was sitting in or taking away. Maybe I should have been more clear or maybe they should have asked while I was ordering - either way, my order was then changed to sitting in. Drink in a mug, food on a plate. Fine. This also happened with another customer shortly before me, so a little breakdown in communication perhaps.

My food and drink arrived and the bacon and egg roll as you may see in the photo is not a roll, it is a flat bread. As flat breads go, it was fairly nice. Would I have ordered if it said flat bread on the menu? Probably not because I was looking specifically for a roll, but it’s not a huge deal.

My coffee had an odd taste, potentially burned milk, which if you’ve had coffee before, makes it taste pretty bad.

The service was friendly, albeit with the silly thing at the start, and fairly ok speed wise (around 12-15 mins for food). The decor in here I’d say is outdated and a bit budget if I’m completely honest. This doesn’t take away from the experience too much, but I am as detailed as I can be in my reviews.

Would I come here again? If I was in the area maybe, but I’d probably see if I could find somewhere else first.

Very welcoming environment with friendly staff to greet you.
The quality of food is prepared fresh and served in a well presented manner. It was a pleasure to eat good old fish and chips just like the good old days.
