We have lived in eagleby for 10+ years and regularly order hot chips a couple times a week after school and I stopped ordering form ejs because the chips aren’t very appetising and they use too much batter on there fish and seafood sticks. I thought I’d give it another go after 2 months but the same again.. disappointing. The chips look and taste like there cooked in old dirty oil.. I would recommend ordering from the country fried chicken shop across the road, their food is great! Chips are a light golden color and taste fresh and crispy.

I remember there being an older Australian man who use to work in the kitchen at ejs and the food was good, but now there’s an Asian man that I’ve had the last couple times, he always has his headphones in. The store really needs an update for better appeal when dining in, and maybe clean and filter the oil more often.. and dispose of dirty oil. I’ve worked in fast food and know what dirty oil looks like with fried food.

Steak burger tender tasty with nice fresh salad.
Crumbed calamari good size, cooked well. A1.
Chicken pieces . Generous size, tasty
Cooked well.
Chips. Need to b cooked just a little bit more to make them crispier.
Service. Very pleasant communicator, accommodating, fast and accurate with orders.
Reasonable prices, generous serves.
Can't ask for more.👍😆

Food was hot. Man was friendly.
Food not worth the money. Fish cocktails are 90% batter and the fish is yuck. Snapper was crispy on outside, then caked in thick uncooked batter - only about half is actual fish rest is layers of batter. Potato Scallops very tiny and he forgot salt. Gravy was brown runny liquid with no flavour. Dont bother.
