View 10/10. Amazing outlook and atmosphere! There must've been a pretty average cook or chef working this morning. Constant mistakes with our order which was flustering the waitress, who was great.
Main complaint was with the quality of the food the back of house staff was willing to put out. I've posted up a video of the cremated bacon that I just couldn't get through.

I was stunned and amazed as we drove up through the gates and up the hill, the car park was full. I was amazed about three months ago when a friend visited the hotel and got food poisoning and the pub was empty. Today however was totally different, it was packed, the service was quick and friendly , the food was fresh and cooked to perfection. The prices were reasonable with kids and seniors pricing. The view is sensational and I saw a whale blowing (photo attached). Definitely give this pub another go if you have had a bad experience.

Food and drinks were good.
Unfortunately, there were a bunch of idiots smoking and drinking. I was having a laugh with an old mate, and they decided to mock me. Wasn't comfortable, so I left half my meal and went home. They seemed like regulars ordering drinks behind the bar. I really hope they don't do this, too, other patrons.

I was really hyped to try this place and maybe that’s why it was slightly disappointing.

This place could be spectacular but it’s fairly run down and a bit dated.

The service at the pay counter was good but when trying to get our meal it ended up coming out it came in dribs and drabs. I guess the price is like standard for a pub meal, but meal was standard also.

They have a great view and pretty decent food. The Nam Jim sauce they put in their menu was actually really nice and it's good to see they put something different in their pub food menu. Keep it up guys!
Would love to come back for meals and view, and hopefully to get Thai Beef Salad on their menu because I'm sure they can make it and they'd be pretty good 🤤🤤🤤🤤

This is an old pub. Small bar. But sensational location. Stunning views over the ocean, both from inside and outside tables. Plenty of seating options. Good pub menu for food. Usual drinks from a pub. Service is good excellent. If you’re in Mackay and want an enjoyable, relaxing drink/food location, this is it! The views are breathtaking!

We had a fabulous lunch today at the Eimeo Pub. The food was amazing and the service was very fast. The lady cleaning our table was very friendly. The view was stunning. Definitely recommend this great Pub for lunch

Great spot high on the hill with lovely views out to the islands. Dog friendly out on front verandah which is great for those who want to have a meal while travelling with pets. We didn't eat as it was late in the afternoon but we had a refreshing drink while enjoying the cooling breeze and will return next time we are in Mackay.
