Four people stayed over night. We thought the hotel was facinating to enter.
The amount of rooms was amazing the garden and sun room were very relaxing. Found the TV tilt hard to work out all we could do was to get it to sit flat against the wall and wished we hadn't touched the remote. The Beds were comfortable. The bath rooms were roomy and clean with great soap dispensers. All in all a great place to stay at a little over $700 for 4 people using 3 bed rooms.
Easy access to Castlemain for dinner at a hotel.

We are a group of 12 friends, we had the loveliest of stays. So much room, the facilities were amazing, we have never stayed anywhere with such a well equipped kitchen. We had the chef come in one night and cooked for us while we sat in that magnificent dining room. We loved the authentic bar and spent many hours in the sunroom. We plan to go again.

We used the hotel as a base to explore some of the many fantastic gravel cycling routes in and around the central goldfields area.

The hotel was perfect for our needs and we particularly enjoyed the very well appointed kitchen, the comfortable conservatory, the lavish dining hall and of course the original bar. All fantastic places for us to socialise, connect, relax and recharge.

We will definitely be back!

We have just hosted our mum's 75th Birthday over the weekend. With family coming in from all over Australia, it was the perfect place to stay, sleeping all of the immediate family, and with other family members and friends in the motel next door. We hosted a wonderful party for Mum on the Saturday. We have had a fantastic time with everyone raving about the property.

We held our wedding reception and other activities over the weekend at the Eaglehawk, and it was a great venue. The space was a perfect size for 60 people even with the rain keeping us inside. The hosts are very responsive to questions and the hotel is very well cleaned and maintained. The heritage building is seamlessly blended with newer decor and renovations to give the building the beauty of old times combined with the functionality and comforts of the present.

Superb!
My husband and I were married here on the weekend. I cannot speak highly enough of this beautiful venue. The hotel is exquisitely decorated and all guests fell in love with the Hotel. There were several places to hold the ceremony and several rooms for dining and drinking as well as a beautiful garden setting.
Mark and Ken were both a delight to deal with and recommended several local Vendors for our celebrations.
We cannot recommend this fabulous venue highly enough.

An excellent venue for small groups. The hotel is beautifully appointed with everything that you could possibly need for a great break. Whilst the conservatory and garden offer opportunities for quiet relaxation, the kitchen and dining room make mealtimes a real treat. The bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable. As a group of friends getting away from the city, it met all of our expectations.

A memorable family Christmas was celebrated at Eaglehawk Country House.
The decor is superb, the accommodation first class, and a fully equipped state of the art kitchen, magnificent dining room and beautiful garden, all made our stay one to remember.
This property certainly has the “wow factor”
and is a credit to the owners.
It was, indeed, a privilege to spend time in such a magnificent place.
