We had two fantastic nights in Eagles View (I think!), the larger one with the amazing bath and glass on 3 sides. It couldn't have been more relaxing, well set up and the perfect place to chill on our wedding night and the following day and night. Maria was so helpful, putting on the Mr & Mrs pillow cases I dropped off and lighting the cabin full of candles (including some I'd made and dropped off too). The breakfast provisions and snacks were fantastic! Highly recommended and we look forward to returning in the future!

Thank you to Maria for making our stay at Eagle Hammer in Eagle's Nest cottage so great. It exceeded our expectations by a mile! The warming fire pre-lit in preparation for our arrival was very welcoming, the food provisions were extremely ample and Maria had thought of absolutely everything we may want or need during our stay. The outlook from the spa was up through a window to the trees - awesome, but best viewed by day! The surroundings are very restful, as the cottages are all nestled in the trees. There are three cottages, but you wouldn't even know anyone else was there.

My husband and I stayed here for the first two nights after our wedding a couple of weeks ago and it was absolutely gorgeous! We arrived later that night after the reception to lit candles and the log fire going, with complimentary chocolates and a congratulations card. It has lovely decor, highly clean, has a romantic and peaceful atmosphere. The bed was comfy, the big deep spa bath was wonderful, the views from the balcony of the forest floor were gorgeous, and we had complimentary breakfast provided the next morning. Definitely will be wanting to come back again!

'Roaring log fire, red wine & cheese, warm bubbles and surrounded by trees! Take a trip to Eagle Hammer, the little cottages amongst the forest, and you shall soon cosy up and not want to leave!' ||My partner, Eddie and I stayed at the Nest Cottage this weekend (27-29 May 2016) and we were welcomed warmly by the owner Maria, who had already lit our fire, stocked the fridge full of breakfast goods and because one of us were vegetarian, Maria had specially gone out and bought tofu, and veggie goods! There were little snacks in the cottage which were lovely and the food was excellent quality! My partner loved the bacon!! The cottage was in an idyllic spot, and it was extremely quiet. As soon as walked into the cottage we instantly felt at home, from the warmth of the fire to the ready-set dining table, and even a fresh bouquet of flowers and box of chocolates to wish a happy birthday! The jacuzzi spa bath was set under a sky light so you could look up at the stars whilst sat relaxing 🙂 The bed and sofa were extremely comfy and everything was very clean. Maria noticed our outside light had stopped working on arrival and she immediately went out the next day and fixed it. We only had one small issue with getting onto the wifi, but really, who should be working when your away for the weekend?! I managed to send an email via hotspot from my phone in the end and Maria kindly offered us to use the internet from the office if we needed it. To be honest it was a good excuse to get 'off the grid' and have a break from your phone/emails etc! We cannot fault the service one bit, this is a 5 star cottage and our first stay at Eagle Hammer, and most certainly shall not be the last! We cannot wait to come back again, and we shall be passing on our review to all our friends and family. Once again, thank you to Maria, this was the best place I could celebrate my 30th birthday weekend and your touches made it very special! Siobhan & Eddie xx

We stayed at the reach cottage for two nights and it was pretty much perfect. You arrive with the fire going and a fully stocked kitchen, you could not leave for the entire two days if you wanted to. No mini bar, everything you see is included. Including bacon and eggs, chocolate, pancakes, cereal and even a sneaky bottle of port. The view outside is incredible and includes a spotlight that shines out onto the trees at night and looks amazing. Everything is stress free and taken care of, including food recommendations and directions when you book the place. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

We stayed for 2 nights on 25 & 26/3/17 and could not have been more impressed. From the minute we entered the cottage it was just perfect. Impeccably clean, food in the fridge from bacon, eggs, sausages, wine chocolates - there was nothing we needed that wasn't there. Candles around the spa, fluffy bath robes,shampoo and conditioner, hair dryer and best of all peace and serenity. I could not recommend this more highly and we will certainly be going back. It is a great place to step out of the hustle and bustle and just chill out

Stayed up at the cottages over the weekend and the entire experience was amazing. The Reach cottage, in which I stayed, was very well presented and noticeably clean & tidy. The service was fantastic, with the room containing more complimentary snacks than anywhere else I've ever been! There is a forest trail on the property which provides a great short walk and lets you experience nature at it's finest. Highly recommend Eagle Hammer Cottages!

So much food provided to 'cook your own breakfast'. If there weren't so many good cafes around, you would have enough for a lunch or two as well. Plenty of other snacks and drinks provided, again, too many to get through. Room was clean, the fire was awesome, spa was big and sitting on the balcony looking into the bush was why we went there to relax. And relax we did. Only about an hour from home and felt like we were a plane ride away. Will definitely be returning.
