We’re never expecting this level of delicious food in this book store. Where we don’t really have to wait, the seated area is bit small to be honest. We order a ricotta cheese cake and brunch here. The cheeses cake is really creamy and amazing. Brunch also good. Can’t love this place more. If u are here alone or with family would be anyway a good choice to have a coffee or a lunch break.

This spot is a hidden gem in the heart of Sydney's CBD. The goulash is a must-try—tender beef, rich with flavor, paired with creamy mashed potatoes that strike the perfect balance without being overly buttery. Honey cake is divine—moist, fragrant with honey and creamy. I really appreciate food that carries the essence of tradition. The portions are generous, it’s not exactly budget-friendly—but definitely worth it.

The food here is wonderful. There are plenty of options for tasty, filling comfort food (the strogonoff was very nice). However, I feel that this cafe is let down by the brusqueness of the serving staff. I understand that this is a very busy cbd cafe, but staff run the risk of making customers feel unwelcome with their lack of friendliness. That being said, this bookshop cafe is quite a unique Sydney experience and worth a visit. I would recommend making a reservation if you're planning to visit during lunch hours.

The goulash was nice with tender beef, a rich sauce and tangy beetroot on top to balance it all. A nice place to try eastern european food in Sydney, would come back to try their pierogi. The coffee was pretty average though. The seating is a bit claustrophobic and wait-times can be a bit long. Overall a nice place to have lunch/a snack during a day out in the city.

I saw a recipe for Syrniki on youtube and Google told me this place serves them. I bookmarked this cafe and procastinated for months. Today i regret my procastination, never again. Amazing food just amazing, and a small chit chat with the owners tells the passion for food! Borsch with beef, Chicken dumpling with Mushrooms, Beef Piroshki and two kinds of Syrniki, each and every dish hit the spot. It made our weekend. Very near QVB light rail, just hop on and enjoy. I called and booked table for two, which is highly recommended.

Located within the Dymocks bookstore. It is convenient for workers in the Dymocks Building. But food and beverages are average, probably because they don't have a full size kitchen due to the location within the bookstore.

Had a few hours to kill and found this gem in the heart of this beautiful book store. I ordered the salmon and avocado croissant and a chaï latte - was so good that I had another one. The service by the two young lady’s was also really nice, I’ll be back for sure!

Tried out this cafe and it was nice! Sweet Sunrise mocktail was delicious, and the poached apple and ricotta crepes were very good. Servers were happy to help, though it did take a while for some things to arrive, but I’m happy overall! The atmosphere is lovely, and if you enjoy people-watching it is a really cool view over the balcony.
