We stayed here with the family just recently and it was great. Kids had a great time in the water, on paddle boats, the canoes and making lots of friends. The apartment was so clean and comfortable had everything you needed on a holiday. Beautiful view from the balcony watching the sunset. The hosts were so friendly and always around if you needed anything. Great fishing spot! Would recommend this place to anyone. Looking forward to staying here again.|Thankyou Maria

We just spent 3 nights in the 4 bedroom house and it was nothing short of amazing. Our hosts were friendly, the water views were amazing, the rooms were decent, close 7min drive to groceries and restaurants, with a large living and dining space and outdoor space to eat too and for the kids to run around. There were frequent fish, pelicans and ducks in the water and we saw a sting ray!!! Free access to kayaks and most importantly, the price was very reasonable. Will be recommending to friends who visit Jervis Bay.

The whole place is very beautiful. Very clean rooms and complete amenities. The view is amazing and the best place where you can unwind and relax. We went fishing and rented a pedestal boat. Everything is perfect. Affordable price for a very good experience. Especially the owners are very kind and helpful. They helped us with our car that broke down the day we’re about to leave, let us parked the whole day and even offered a room while we’re waiting for the mechanic because it’s raining. Thank you so much Dirk and Dawn for your help. We will definitely come back soon and recommend your place to our friends. We truly enjoyed and love your place ❤️

The setting on the water is extremely peaceful. Rooms were clean and comfortable and kitchen had everuthing required. Kids loved the kayaks. Visiting kangaroos added to the excitement of the weekend. Overall, a nice stay.

Situated in front of a lake, our accommodation is overlooking the waterfront view, so serene and peaceful, the room has everything you'll ever need, it's clean and some modern touch to its interior. The bed on the main bedroom is a bit soft for me and my wife to sleep on so we swapped with my daughter which she preferred,which solved the issue. The stove we tried to use is very slow to heat up, trying to toast banana bread for it doesn't fit on the toaster.we normally dine out trying out what locals has to offer , restaurants and groceries are 6-7 minutes drive . For 3 nights that we stayed here overall we are very satisfied with the accommodation, definitely recommended for a family getaway.

Beautifully set up for a relaxing holiday.The beds were so comfortable and having access to the water only a few steps away was perfect for having a boat and fishing.The kitchen was well equipped with a large fridge and freezer perfect for long stays.Overall I would recommend anyone to check out this property for there next vacation.

Dungowan and Glenrowan Holiday Accommodation - 99 - 101 Naval Parade, Erowal Bay||Whilst the house is set on the lovely St George basin, never before have I arrived at any holiday home, Airbnb or hotel to find our accommodation ABSOLUTELY FILTHY. If you want to stay in a dirty dump, you have come to the right place. It is a 4 bedroom home as advertised but it would have been cleaner and more comfortable to live in my car! I just want to give others a heads-up as we all work hard for our money and when we go on holiday, we want to get what we have been promised. I actually called and spoke with the owner prior to making my booking and asked if the place was renovated and was advised it was. In reality, it is a really old house. We arrived to find the house really dirty and grimy - from sticky dirty timber floors to grimy kitchen countertops and dining room table. Two of the four bedrooms have built-in cupboards - we wanted to unpack but the drawers were dirty with all dust and black specks in them. The cupboards in the one bedroom were completely mouldy (shelves covered in mould) - even with them shut, the smell of mould was terrible and permeated through the entire room. So we had to live out of our suitcases! There were also dirty smelly blankets on the shelves in the cupboards in both bedrooms. The linen in the one bedroom had rust marks all over it and the towels provided were threadbare. And one hand towel provided in the bathroom for our entire stay for a house that sleeps 8! Whilst the fridge worked, it did not keep anything cold. My friend woke up the first night to find something crawling on her head to find a large cockroach in her bed climbing in her hair. And the next morning when we went out on the deck to sit at the outdoor table, there was another cockroach doing the death rattle on its back on the table. The motor for the aircon was located in the main bedroom. It wasn’t possible to run at night due to the extremely loud noise it made. On complaining about the noise on our departure and advising that the rest of the house was really hot, we were told that the aircon was channelled throughout the house except there were no vents in any other room and no instructions on how to use it. We could not use the BBQ it was so dirty. The pots and pans in the kitchen cupboards were sticky with grime and dirt and the cutlery had dried food caked onto them. We had to go out and buy disposable cups, plates and crockery just to have a cup of coffee and to allow my teenage son and his friend to have a snack. We ate absolutely nothing at the house as it was so dirty. There were cabinets in the lounge and dinging room with a gap under them - there was sooooo much dust and dirt under those cabinets, I don’t think they had seen a vacuum or mop in many a moon! On taking these issues up with Dirk, he advised that I should have told him and he would have come to clean - it would have taken the entire duration of our stay and longer to clean up the house and why isn’t it done every time someone departs before the new people come in? Dirk’s comment to me was that I had originally wanted the 4 bedroom cottage as opposed to the 4 bedroom house so nothing was going to please me - Dirk, I only wanted the cottage as it had the spa bath which I thought would be fun for my son and his friend. Dirk and Dawn, do the right thing and clean up the house so that people who have worked hard all year and are looking forward to a break, don’t come to something so grossly filthy.
