First time here for comedy night, what talent! Awesome MC and the venue had sydney city cocktail lounge vibes.
Bar staff were pleasant too.

Duke's went from being a place to get cheap beers and shots to a gorgeous cocktail bar since their revamp. The atmosphere is cozy and stylish, their cocktails are amazing, and the bartenders love what they do and it shines through.

If you want an beautiful cocktail crafted with love, Duke's is the place to go! What a great little addition to the bar scene in Surfers ☺️

What you say about this place. It's location is unfortunate. It really could give a much more awesome vibe off if it didn't have the connotations of being the old backpackers and schoolies stomping grounds. The bar itself is really awesome, gives off a vibe that's become unique these days, and really it should be far busier than it is. That being said there's done things to consider. The crowd this place attracts is primarily of a mid life crisis, and a "too young to understand cocktails" mindset. My biggest improvement shout out is that the menu should include botique whiskeys and not just wines and beer. Yes I can see it behind the counter, but if you're printing $100+ bottles of wine, you should bother with whiskey for some big pay days. I recommend this to younger visitors to surfers, not just because it's underrated, but also because this place could be so much more if it just attracted more visitors.

Nice place, cheap and good tasty pizza, drinks are reasonably priced, live music, but a little bit too loud as the place is not that big, but it's a common thing at Surfers Paradise places. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. I would recommend this place for visit with your friends to have some fun.

Took 20 whole minutes to get served and they served 5 people before me. I tried to get their attention and they completely ignored me. They also had no toilet roll in the ladies toilet. This was 9pm. You couldn't pay me a billion to go drink in there again. I heard the drinks were cheap though, and the decor is great, they also have pool! FOH Staff need to get their act together.
BTW I've never given a place 1 star in my life before.
