Yesterday we celebrated my grand daughter's christening luncheon at the cafe. We had a group of about 30 and dozens of children. The cafe did a fantastic lunch for us on our arrival, there were some lovely complimentary nibbles which were delicious, followed by a delicious lunch. We had brought a cake which was our dessert. The children had the perfect venue as the cafe is at the edge of park with an enclosed playground. Thank you so much to such a fantastic venue, food and staff.

The coffee was excellent but if you like it hot then you have to ask for it, otherwise it is just tepid.
The vegetarian burger was delicious as was the Caesar salad. The bacon in the salad was supposedly maple bacon which I thought might be interesting, but I couldn't taste the maple syrup. The Caesar had REAL anchovies, a rarity these days, but there were only two.
The menu is not extensive but the food is good and the service excellent.
Well worth a visit.

The atmosphere was warm, close to the park, family friendly, with a car park nearby.
The waitress was friendly.
I asked for my coffee first & it arrived halfway through my meal.
I ordered a bacon & egg roll, which would have been perfect if it wasn't drowned in chutney.

A friend and I stumbled on this gem of a cafe after a long walk. The staff quickly popped a table outdoors under the tree while we ordered at the counter. Dukes Green Cafe had great service, coffee and dishes to choose from. I'll definitely be back if ever in the area.

Nice little cafe with a good outdoor area for sitting. Service was friendly and attentive and the food and coffee delicious. Everything you'd want on a Saturday morning.

Oh Sunday morning, oh so bright
Two large coffees, a terrible sight
Absent-minded, I paid with a grin
$12.40 gone, my wallet in a spin!

The brew was bad, a flavorless crime
Not worth the cash, oh what a waste of time!
I should've known better, I should've been wise
But caffeine craving made me compromise

Thirteen bucks for a cup of despair
I'd rather drink mud, without a care!
Next time I'll think, next time I'll know
Terrible coffee, no way to go!

Great spot for a quiet coffee. Plenty of parking too & fronts onto a park. Service is great, coffee is good as is the food. Definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a nice quiet spot.
