We all went there for breakfast this morning.
Sadly we ordered the BYO breakfast.
It was barely edible and one of our group of 4 left hers after a bite or 2 as she deemed it awful.
The poached eggs were all hard as rocks, the ‘sourdough’ toast was only just adequate and the coffee resembled dishwater.
The menu clearly stated that there were 3 hash browns per order, all who ordered them received only 2.
Rip off!
The few servers present were overworked. The tables were not cleaned between customers.
All in all ‘dining’ there was an experience we will certainly not repeat.
It was top dollar and extremely poor value.
There’s a much better looking Blue café just across the road, I would suggest going there instead.
I think the Surf Lifesaving Club should stick to what it does best and leave the food and beverage business altogether.

I got a coffee and the brown sugar and apple cake. Both were lovely. I have never had a bad coffee here in the few visits I've had. The cake was lovely and moist with big chunks of apple. There are some seats outside the front by the beach too but I always sit along the wall by the beach.

Great spot for brekky or a hot brew and cake. Spectacular beach and ocean views. Can be quite windy if dining outside. Staff were lovely and friendly. Cafe can get quite busy. Popular spot for older people to get together. Loads of space. Dog friendly for dining outside. Toilets on premises were clean. Price for Brekky was a bit high, but was very good quality, well presented and portions were large.

Loved the BLT. It was so tasty! The location of the cafe by the beach is perfect to go for a walk afterwards. Overall, it was a very nice experience 😄.

A lovely place to enjoy brunch, especially when the sun is out and the sky is blue, as it was today when we went. It's right by the beach and has that really nice beach vibe feel about it. The Turkish eggs are my favourite brekky / brunch, and number one go to. Staff are friendly. Also dog friendly. I would definitely recommend 👌

Customer service was poor. Guy serving us was very rude and had no manners. Food was average. Waited 20 mins for a ham and cheese croissant to find the cheese wasn’t even melted and was cold. In a perfect location however won’t be going back.

I love this cafe, right on the beach. Great coffee and friendly, happy atmosphere.
