The ambience of the Japanese inspired room we stayed in was calming and amazing at the same time . Complete privacy after an arrival through a lush garden, with an outlook from the suite to a massive fig situated next to a rock which acted together with layered gardens as the backdrop of this yard. My husband and I spent two nights in the Zen Garden suite at Driftwood Villa. The room was very well appointed bed comfortable kitchen facilities were everything we needed and John the host was welcoming,friendly and helpful and yet left us to feel the place was truly ours. The suite is a 20 meter walk to a very quiet beach with both beach and point surfs. |Close proximity to other great towns such as Bellingen. A great place to walk surf read. We would stay again .

Even better the second time around, this time with our dog. John and Marina are wonderful hosts and thought of everything to make our stay very enjoyable. Breakfast supplies and welcome treats are fabulous. It was lovely to see the enhancements made during the 11 months between visits. The gardens are looking even more spectacular and the paving (which is new to us) in the outdoor area of the Ketuk Suite is perfect for pets and a very nice private spot to sit and enjoy. The close proximity to the beach is a huge bonus, we enjoyed not having to wear shoes from the suite to the beach. Highly recommended. Looking for an excuse to get back there as soon as possible.

The location is perfect! Right by the beach so you wake up listening to waves and birds chirping. John and Marina were the best hosts and left us eggs and bread for brekkie as well as some wine and beer as welcome drinks - so thoughtful! The Villa is a modern Balinese fusion surf sanctuary - we stayed in the front villa and it was incredibly private. Scotts head is a great, quiet spot for couples if you want somewhere gorgeous to stay on a trip between Brisbane and Sydney. The local coffee shop has awesome coffee, too. Lots of tranquil and spacious nooks in and around the villas if you were thinking of bringing your yoga mat along... catching sunrise on the beach is a must!

We had 4 relaxing nights at Driftwood Villa. Stayed in the Katuk suite which had everything we needed plus a few unexpected extras (like mini wine and pretzels). The garden setting for the villas is so beautiful with lovely landscaping and we spent time reading and relaxing in the garden as we had the place to ourselves for a few nights with the other 2 or 3 villas unbooked.||The really gorgeous beach (Forster Beach) was a very short walk away and I enjoyed many beautiful sunrises there which was such a treat. It is also a short walk into town to the local grocery store where we got a lot of our meals to prepare in the villa (didn't get the chance to try the local cafe as hours limited due to COVID).||Jason, Driftwood's host, was very helpful and we had complete privacy during our stay with contactless check in and out.

As we walked through the tropical Bali themed gardens to our Tula Villa we knew it would be a perfect place to stay. From the lovely lanai with comfortable cushioned cane lounge to the magical back garden where you can sit in comfort on a deck covered with an electronic shade to look at the gardens and the beautiful rock face. Decorated throughout thoughtfully, with style and luxury from the spacious bathroom with inside and outside shower to the king bed, the dining area and the chef's kitchen, everything was pristine and perfect. Thank you John and Marina for a "perfect" stay in your beautiful villa only 50M from the beach. Would we recommend Driftwood Villa?....absolutely!!....10/10.

We stayed in the Zen garden Suite. Wonderfully welcoming hosts, tranquil and peaceful garden setting, beautifully appointed villa with hotel quality bed and bath linen. The unexpected delight was to find the kitchen fully provisioned for our breakfast needs including an excellent espresso machine and eggs! High speed Wi-Fi was also an added bonus that I was not expecting.

My husband and I along with my cousins from New Zealand recently spent two nights at Driftwood and we cannot speak more highly of these amazing villas beautifully appointed and perfectly located to stunning Scotts Head beach. Our hosts were very welcoming and accomodating to any needs though have to say everything was spot on. If you are looking for a tranquil stop over while travelling or a few days bliss by the beach then Driftwood Villas are the perfect place.

Our stay was great, the location was perfect with a short walk to town and straight across the road to the beach for a surf!. John and Marina have clearly put a tone of effort into the gardens and suits. The perfect escape from the real world, will definitely go back, thanks for having us!
