This is the first time our family has stayed at Elliott Heads. It was a beautiful day out so we decided to walk down to the kiosk for burgers and fish and chips. What generous portion sizes along with great taste. We had two bacon and egg works burgers that were fresh and didn't taste greasy like takeaway burgers can usually be. We also thoroughly enjoyed the crumbed cod, calamari and chips.. it was delicious. It was slightly busy at the time but you wouldn't have noticed as our food came out quickly. Highly recommend

Great burger with the lot. We recommend you try it. Great portion sizes. Chips were great also. Very relaxed atmosphere and service was quick, meal was ready in no time at all. It was our first time we visited the area and if we come back for another visit we will certainly have a burger here again.

I’m not usually one to do a Google review. However, I use to love coming out to Elliott Heads from town for a meal and hadn’t for ages. Today I decided to try it since the new owners have taken over. I asked for a small chips cheese and gravy, I had to tell the man I wanted the cheese and gravy ON my chips. Didn’t ask me if I wanted salt. So I said I’ll have chicken salt on everything. I also ordered 3 potato scallops which when I bit into them it was like mashed potato had been battered and deep fried. The chips were bright yellow in colour and didn’t taste that great either. Obviously cutting costs and ordering cheaper food. The quality is no where near where the previous owners had it. Cleanliness also didn’t look too crash hot. I won’t be eating here again unless it gets taken over with different owners or the council step in.

Thank goodness for the Driftwood Cafe. We stayed in the caravan park back in August and it was such a pleasure to cross the road to the cafe for coffee and meals. The bacon and egg roll is the best, and their coffee is great. We also tried the fish and chips and burgers, all were good value and big servings. Lovely staff to cap it off.

I've been staying in Elliott all week and I visit the Driftwood cafe daily for a morning coffee and hash brown. We also stopped in for fish and chips twice.

Firstly, the almond milk latte was great on every single visit! I love the colorful bio cups they use too. Also, the best hash browns I've ever had, so crispy!

In terms of the fish and chips, what amazing value! We had the fisherman's basket for 2 people and it was around $25. We could barely get through it, you also get 2 soft drink cans included in that price. Would definitely recommend this cafe, I'll be grabbing a coffee as we leave town tomorrow morning.

Waited an extremely long time for the worst fish and chips. Then got the order wrong and the rude person who served us tried to say we asked for it?! Customer service was poor, there is an extremely bad biting insect infestation, food was trash and the wait time was atrocious! Lucky for google review so people know that after spending close to $100 for fish and chips and a couple of cans of drink, don't waster your time

Got fish and chips for the family today. Chips generous, fish and potato scallops were tasty. Beautiful location. Not too long to wait either. Definitely pleased we decided to stop.
