Only stayed here 1 night as we were travelling from Airlie Beach to Port Douglas and needed somewhere to break up the journey. We loved the chilled out feel of Mission Beach so we would have liked to stay longer.||||We were in the smaller of the 2 rooms but it was very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. We loved the outlook onto the lush gardens and the beautiful birds. The breakfast was plentiful with lots of fresh fruits and really set us up for the day. ||||The owners were really friendly and gave us some good tips.||||A perfect stay.

Had a delightful one night's stay at Driftwood and a very warm welcome from Evelyn and Jim. We had a lovely room overlooking the garden and were woken to the wonderful birdsong and the sight of a kangaroo being chased by a cassowary in the fruit garden. Evelyn gave us loads of information on checkin, the room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, the pool great and we used this both in the evening and first thing before breakfast which was much appreciated. Jim cooked us a great breakfast and told us a lot about the area and suggested visiting Etty Bay on the way back where we saw more cassowary. Lovely B&B and super hosts, thank you.

We loved our stay at Driftwood. The room was a personal highlight of our trip and the breakfast was great! Jim and Evelyn made us feel very welcome and everything was easy from start to finish. The location was a five minute drive from the beach, restaurants and walking trails - perfect!

Hidden gem in the suburbs of Mission Beach, a short drive or bike ride into town. The hosts were absolutely lovely and prepared a wonderful breakfast for us (they even had a menu of three different breakfasts!) on the deck of their beautiful 1930s Queenslander house. The room was immaculate and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Highly recommended!

Thanks to Jim and Eve for a great stay (even though we didn’t get our Cassowary - grr). Breakfast was perfect and they are lovely hosts. So much to chat with them about. This was our favourite place on a two week trip. We liked it better than Thala Beach. We need a Cassowary so we’ll be back!

Lovely place, clean and tidy. Very friendly hosts. Choice of different breakfasts. Beautiful garden with pool. Regret that we could not have stayed longer in Mission Beach, which is a very quiet seaside resort.

We chose Driftwood B & B from a website and were totally satisfied. The house is a magnificent elevated Queenslander and the accommodation was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The breakfast menu had something for everybody with fresh tropical fruit on the table also.
