As someone who previously owned a caravan park I am a hard market but I have to say our 9 day stay was a great experience. The owners and staff were sensational. Sites were good size. Price was value for money. Quaint and rustic. Well worth considering.

What a lovely place to stay.
Lovely hot showers,on a cold rainy night.
Hopefully it's not raining tomorrow so we can go for a walk around.
May even stay another night.
Nothing to complain about
Not sure why others have.

Nice place to stay on the Waterfall Way. Excellent service, comfortable cabins. Relaxed vibe. Located on the edge of Dorrigo as you come up from the coast.

Time warp from the 70's...right down to the dirt. Hands down the worst accommodation I have ever experienced. Lounge was a metal frame covered in tired quilted material, too uncomfortable to sit on. Whole cabin was raw plywood and chipboard. Warped cupboards in kitchenette, rusty old Bar fridge. No air con, windows screen less, many flies. Mattress about 10cm thick. Toilet nearly touching distance from bed. Shower screen didn't work. Sliding toilet door didn't work. TV pixelated. No internet or WiFi. Might be ok for caravans/campers. Would strongly advise anyone against staying in the cabins. Ridiculously overpriced. Booked 2 nights, stayed 1. Couldn't wait to get somewhere clean. Large spiders eggs on roof, cobwebs and dirt everywhere. Plug didn't fit in the sink, so couldn't even wash up with ease. Really unpleasant accommodation.

Such a beautiful location and close to town but a shame about the accommodation being in a terrible state. Looks as though very little has been done in the past 40 years as I stayed here as a kid and it was no different then. Communication from reception staff was fine. Please do something with your accommodation for future guests and make it a more pleasant stay.

Our family of 3 adults and 2 small children, were booked in for 2 nights in Cabin 4. We stayed for 3 hours! During that time, we tried to sound brave, telling ourselves it's only for two nights. The cabin walls were made of plywood and the whole place looked like it hadn't changed at all since the 70s. Everything looked old and dirty. The bed linen looked like it hadn't been changed for decades. The lady on Reception had told us that we could use the Meeting Room where there was a pool table, so we went there. There was a pool table, with pool balls but the cloth on the table had lots of rips and the cues didn't have any tips on them, so we couldnt really play pool. The bookcase was full of old mildewed books that I felt uncomfortable touching. The whole place seems to have been frozen in time is dirty and uncomfortable. Back in the cabin, we sat the kids down for lunch and my granddaughter had a massive Huntsman Spider on her - this wouldn't have been a problem normally- I know we were in the National Park, but we were all then on edge and worried that we'd have spiders on us while we slept. We realised none of us felt comfortable enough to get any sleep in such horrible, dirty surroundings so we scarpered. The lady on reception did not seem at all surprised that we checked out after 3 hours - I guess it happens regularly. |The surroundings are lovely. If you have your own caravan, it would be great. I wouldn't stay in a cabin, though, unless you like musty smells, damp, dirt, spiders and 70s decor.

We stayed in Cabin 13, 1 bedroom cabin. Booked for 3 nights. The guy at checkin was great! ||On entering there was a strong stale musty odour that persisted even though we left all the windows open during our stay. ||Sadly these cabins are in desperate need of repair and housekeeping. Timber flooring is rotting. Ceiling is thick with dust. Kitchen cabinets are rickety and in need of restaining. Shower screen wouldn't slide properly in the track and difficult to close. Hotplates were rusty and very old. Window flyscreens were filthy with cobwebs and "mould spots" There was a big hole in the kitchen screen large enough to fit your hand through where the room started to fill with insects of a night ||All this for the bargain price of $140 per night. Please Note no refunds after checkin. ||Sad that the owners care so little about the upkeep of their cabins in this beautiful parkland.|||Very difficult to feel the holiday vibe in such a depressing shabby cabin. |

Not sure where to start with the family cabin that we stayed in. Perhaps with the lack of anywhere comfortable to sit to eat or relax. Only option is metal stools at a breakfast bar or a plastic chair on the verandah! Then there’s the kitchen, with the most basic of facilities, tiny fridge and microwave, plug in ancient electric cooktop and mismatched cutlery and crockery. Or maybe the fan with the broken base, and the lack of a heater. Or maybe the musty smell, and mould around the door frame. Even the little things were bad, such as no rubbish bin in the bathroom or a hairdryer. Or the tiny double bed with only one bedside table and lamp. The lack of other good options in Dorrigo is the only reason that people would stay here but that’s no excuse for such poor quality accommodation.
