This is one of the best places that we stayed at during our long east coast road trip. Not because it is super luxurious or anything, but the stay was super calming and the location was perfect for our family of 5. It is not that far from anything if you consider the traffics. It is just a beautiful farm with friendly animals. Chrissy and Rob are great hosts. One of the things that stands out is how clean each single item was. This is one of the few places on our trip that has a completely clean washer. (As in no stains and residual dirty stuff that we would need to clean before use). You can tell they really put in the effort and touches to make this a comfortable stay.

Absolutely brilliant, they have thought of everything for a very comfortable & homely stay. Fully equipped kitchen, bathroom & ample wood for the fireplace, even stacked ready to go. Clean & the best part was the chickens & horses. Our kids absolutely adored the animals and even got to feed them (with help from the hosts) The beds were very comfortable and super warm!
Breathtaking views, quiet and very relaxing! We will be back for sure!

Beautiful cosy cottage set in the most amazing location. If you are looking for somewhere to relax and soak in the country side, this is definitely the place to be. The accomodation is spotless and very well equipped. The owners Rob and Chrissy live on site and are amazing. They leave you to your own devices and make sure you have a peaceful stay. I helped (I use the word helped very loosely 🙂 ) Chrissy wash one of the horses which for me was a great relaxing experience.
We loved it so much, we ave already booked for next year! Thank you Rob and Chrissy for an amazing weekend.

This cozy cottage located in a beautiful area, amazing view and very comfortable and clean, we felt we were in our own house. Decorated very nicely and elegant. Outdoor decks are great place for relaxing or dining. Kids and adults can enjoy hanging around farm animals. Chrissy and Rob were great and friendly, can’t wait to see them and their property again.

What a great spot!! The Hosts live on the property and are very friendly, but also leave you alone to enjoy the area. The house is VERY well equipped, including the pantry. Sitting on the verandah or the new deck, with a drink and a companion is a great way to watch the sunset fall over the valley. Negotiating the driveway and carport can be tricky for Big cars, but it is all concreted so no problems if it is wet. Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay and left way more relaxed than when we arrived.

We absolutely loved staying in this cozy country home surrounded by beautiful green scenery and friendly farm animals.
Our kids loved meeting the horses. It was a perfect place for us to unwind and we loved sitting around the firepit under the stars.

This is an exceptionally good place to stay. It’s the attention to detail and the little extras that make Doomben Ridge such a delightful place to stay and a memorable experience.

We were there for grandparents duty, to look after a 4 month-old whose parents were at a wedding at one of many local venues.

It was a very rainy and unusually cool October weekend, so the fireplace that was lit when we arrived was a very welcome surprise.

Because of the weather, we weren’t able to explore outside, but the surroundings were inviting and I am sure wandering around the property would add an extra dimension to your stay.

The pantry was very well stocked and little extras like eggs from the yard chooks was an impressive touch of hospitality.

I think what impressed me the most was that the hosts had provided the best experience a guest could want.
