I cannot thank the team at Lake Hume - Victoria enough.
Stayed there for one night, and they went above and beyond for me when my car literally broke down as I was heading out to dinner the night I was staying.
Staff took my bags from my car (that I'd not unpacked) to my room, and then once the car was towed from near the caravan park, took me back to my room.
The next morning they also arranged to take me to the car hire place so I was able to pick up a car to travel back home.

Will definitely recommend to anyone who is travelling this way and wants a great caravan park to stay at with exceptional hospitality and kindness.

Our family was here from 23/5 to the 26/5 we loved our time here was very kid friendly with different activities to do and staff were also very kind and friendly. My son loved the giant pillow they have and also the tennis courts. Would definitely recommend and we can't wait to come back.

Was around 50% occupied, whilst we were there, which made it a very pleasant stay.
We were right in front of the pool which was a very nice spot.
The lake was low, so only dirt directly in front, but still with water views.
It has at least one rotunda style kitchen barbeque area, partially closed in. We made use of that which was great. I noted a games room down the other end of the park. Didn't go in, so unsure as to what was in there..

The air conditioned 'cabins' are pretty good (a little worn) with fridge microwave, toaster and kettle. And a full oven with gas cook top. And crockery according to number of beds.
Beds were pretty good, a tad hard for me, but good.

Booked two powered sites—one for my family (camper trailer), one for my sister’s (tent). We called ahead, provided all relevant details, and were told we’d been allocated two suitable sites next to each other. Without informing us, those sites were later changed. When we arrived, we found we’d been placed far apart.

To make matters worse, the site given to my sister was completely unsuitable for a tent—mostly paved, with the remaining space so uneven it was impossible to get a level pitch. It was clearly never appropriate for tent camping.

I anticipate the usual excuses: that allocations are subject to availability or system limitations, or that staff do their best. But when guests call ahead, give clear details, and are told something has been arranged—only to have it quietly changed without notice—that’s not good enough. A paved site for a tent should never even be considered.

This isn’t just about inconvenience—it’s about lack of care and communication. We expected better.

A park with so many activities! We took advantage of the free tennis hire each day and the pool and spa were beautiful locations. Obviously with the lake so low it made for a long trek to the water but that is outside their control. Our site was close to the jumping pillow and the mat area helped keep the dirt to a minimum in the van. The best customer service we have experienced at a park. Lauren was beautiful to deal with and offered personalised interactions like no park we are experienced. She is a testament to the caravan park and a rare gem in the industry.

We stayed here in May and had the special rate of $20 per night for a caravan site, then they upgraded us to an ensuite. The ensuite was beautiful and spacious. Our site backed onto what would be the lake but as it was down to 23% it was open land, also very nice. We would eat our meals looking out over this area and enjoying the sunset. Thanks again!

We had a waterview (lakeside cabin) cabin no 306. The cabin was desperately in need of an update. Very old kitchenette without storage facilities for any pantry goods. The bathroom left a lot to be desired the sink was so badly scratched it looked dirty. Shower you had to step into so if you have mobility issues it would not work. Flooring old laminate that was split and lifting in places.
You have a small parking spot that did not fit our car without it hanging its tail onto the roadway. And the parking is not close to the cabin to carry belongings indoors.
Sadly we were unable to use the pool and spa area for 2 days of our four day stay. Firstly the reception said it was due to a chemical imbalance in the pool then said it was due to their garden maintenance as the palms were being trimmed. Would have been nice to know in advance that facilities would be unavailable.

We had a great time here staying in a cabin with our two small children. The park has a playground, a jumping inflatable pillow, pool, and recreational rooms that provided entertainment for the kids. The caravan park had a few BBQ spots. Great views of Lake Hume. The whole caravan park is well kept, with beautiful trees and plants throughout.
