Rooms were tidy, beds were comfy and the cabin was rather spacious.
The shower was rather tiny and pipes were old. So made noises if not at the right pressure. But the water was hot and amazing. Showers were made for tiny people haha

Location is nice and convenient for the beach. Extremely busy and noisy. So if you are after a quiet cabin or camping spot, this is definitely not one!!
But we checked out on a Sunday when a triathlon was on. The set up and management of this triathlon was atrocious. They were rude and abusive. Made us wait for 20 mins just to get out of the park. There was not enough notice, or communication from the park about this event when checking in or out.

I am compelled to make this review despite not having stayed at this park.
While parked near the beach with a few other vans — a completely public space I’ve visited with my family for years — a man who I was informed is the manager of Discovery Parks approached us in an incredibly aggressive and confrontational manner. Without any introduction or explanation, he began filming us and even filmed inside our open vehicles without our consent. This was a blatant invasion of privacy, completely uncalled for, and left us all feeling shocked and uncomfortable.

He loudly accused us of using the park’s facilities without being guests, claiming to have CCTV footage of “multiple vans” doing so. However, he made no effort to confirm any details — no checking of number plates, no calm conversation — just assumptions, yelling, and unlawful filming. For the record: I have never stepped foot into the caravan park.

I fully understand that businesses need to protect their amenities — that’s fair. But the way this situation was handled was completely inappropriate. Aggressive behavior and filming private citizens in a public area, particularly inside their personal vehicles, is not only highly unprofessional, it’s likely unlawful.

I have video evidence of the individual who approached us and am more than happy to speak with someone from Discovery Parks directly if they wish to follow up. This experience was incredibly disappointing and not something I would ever expect from a company of this size and reputation.
I also will note that he only approached me, my friend and one other solo female, who were all alone- when there were also several men in the car park whom also had vans. Very interesting and quite obviously targeted and some sort of power play. Never thought I’d be feeling so unsafe in somewhere I’ve spent so much of my life.

We booked a powered site for 6 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Location is fabulous. Quiet, shady park. Toilets and showers looked and smelt clean, way upon our list of visited caravan parks in our 3 months travelling.

We stayed on a powered site in our van. While the caravan park is clean , well situated & the staff were wonderful, the layout isn't very well planned & some caravan sites are in single lane, dead end streets with no way to turn into the site unless you reverse the entire street.

We visited the Coogee Beach WA Discovery Park over Easter/Anzac Day this year. I understand that it’s Easter so should expect to pay a “premium” but the premium we paid did not reflect the quality that I would have expected of a Discovery Parks Cabin. As I had always believed Discovery Parks to be of much better condition, I have decided to share this feedback with you as I was not able to include photos in the feedback survey that I completed and if this sort of sub standard “quality” is not reported, how do you know?||We paid $315 per night for a total of 5 nights ($1575).||The staff I encountered, whilst “friendly” were not particularly helpful. They were merely “ticking the boxes” of being there.||The location was great. The camp kitchen was very good. I suspect because the park permanent residents probably make sure the kitchen space is kept tidy and well looked after as they use it for their social club. ||We spent the 2nd half of our visit on a powered site so got to use the amenities and they were for the most part, OK. They were as I would expect them to be.||The cabin we were placed in was dirty, there were cobwebs in the toilet, and dirt on the floor. There were broken things like the plastic holders for the blind chords and a tap in the kitchen with a piece broken off it. The cabin walls need a coat of paint and hole’s fixed, the bathroom was terrible.

This terrific, affordable, little park, has a beachside location and a lovely, relaxed vibe. It has a mixture of unit accommodation for hire, and plenty of shady sites for vans and motor homes. The site allocated to our big motorhome, was spacious, and easy to access. There are many permanent residents, who over time, have developed and decorated their modest sites, with potplants and lush gardens, These permanent dwellings, enhance the ambience of a secure, friendly, country village. A gentle morning walk from your park location, along tidy paths and across one, minor, sand dune, and you are presented with a heart lifting vista, of white shore and sparkling, aqua water. Fantastic beach for children in the morning. The wind can get fiesty on the beach in the afternoon but the park itself is very sheltered. | Ablution blocks at the park are a little outdated but scrupulously clean and the water was always hot whilst we were there. |We hope the owners do not bow under pressure to sell this unique location to developers. It is a gem of a spot for travellers looking for a true beachside experience.

We stayed in a 6 people cabin almost a year ago. Nice, clean and tidy, perfect for families, beach and playground nearby. Only issue is sand being dragged into the room by the kids, no matter what we did it ended up in the bed some how. Otherwise a lovely stay.

Had an amazing experience! The receptionist, James, is a great dude—super friendly and treated us like family. He made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Highly recommend this place. And shout out to James.
