This restored victorian railway hotel is a real showstopper. The rooms have 30' high ceilings brass chanderiers huge sash windows with heavy fancy curtains and reproduction antique furniture with a king sized four poster bed. My room also had a spa. The gardens have a landscaped hedge and bbq area and ample parking. | It was also one of the cheapest rooms available.

A very unique hotel. You feel like you stepped back in time but in a good way. The shower and sink were in the main room which was different but loved the large room with tall ceilings. Bed was comfy and room was very clean.

The old world charm and stylish decor give the hotel some points, and the large room with high ceilings have lots of promise when you step into it. But then it goes downhill from there. It is superficially clean. Probably clean enough to survive one night, but don't look too deep. The cheap plastic toilet seat cover was loose. The right hand side of the bed has no bedside table. And then there's the night's sleep. Or complete lack of. Squealing trains thunder past every now and then. But that won't wake you up as you'll already be awake. Sleep is impossible on the most uncomfortable, softest, cheapest marsmallow matress they could find. No support at all. It was like trying to sleep in a short canoe. At 1 AM I gave up on getting any sleep.

This is a great location in Rockhampton, right near the great Western who puts on so many good events.

The rooms are amazing! Beds are so comfortable and you get a spa in your room. The price is fair and you will love your stay here

We've stayed here many times, it's always been our favourite place to stay. The rooms are beautiful and unique, the spa is fantastic and the staff are always amazing. And the bed! Is humongous! And so soft and comfortable!!

Our most recent visit however, might have been our last. As much as we love Denison Boutique, our room was very musty. I recently had pneumonia and still experience respiratory problems since then... The mustiness in the room made it hard for me to breathe and it was a struggle to get through the night.

I can't fault the staff or management though, they are always so good and keep the place well. It's just an old building and is lacking good ventilation in the rooms.

This was the best hotel I’ve stayed at in years . The unique style lends itself to a bygone era and done with impeccable taste . The value for money is unbelievable and best continental breakfast I’ve had anywhere in the world. It was so impressive friends I have shared my photos to are definitely visiting .

I liked the unique rooms with very very high ceilings. Also it felt very clean. If you are sensitive to noise in the morning you might want a room not on the road side. It gets pretty noisy in the morning. But if you wake up early it is all good.
