Ordered the Avocado smash… seems a bit silly to call it that when it comes with barely any avocado I got one piece of sourdough toast cut it half and only half of my one piece of bread had avocado on it… pretty disappointing considering there prices are quite high…
The presentation is nice but considering portion size probably wouldn’t order from here again as I had to go eat else where afterwards as I was still hungry.

First of all, the meal. I had the Mr Benny, eggs Benedict to you and me, and let me tell you it deserves it's own title to separate it from the other eggs Benedicts I've had. The sauce is creamy, luscious, and plentiful; the eggs and bacon were cooked just right, and the overall flavour was divine. Second, the service. Always quick, always friendly, and reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. Also, they know how to make a fabulous cappuccino with the perfect amount of head on it (I can't count how many other cafes I've been to where the foam was already deflating by the time it got to me). As you have no doubt observed, I'm very fussy when it comes to my food, and I come here every single week for breakfast or lunch. What does that tell you?

a cockroach in my food. I went to Degani cafe this morning 4th of November at 11 o’clock and there was a cockroach on my food. I ordered vegetarian breakfast and pancake. The service was horrible. The wait was too long. The lady that was serving me. She kept touching her nose and in the end a cockroach on my food. Please avoid this place as its not hygienic.

The food has been consistently good here for years, the service could be a little friendlier, the waitress had no smile. The cloth seating is grubby but otherwise nice place with good menu options.

Highly disappointed service provided by a staff today in the afternoon. Ordered 3 coffee and 1 of coffee served wrong one ( needed latte and received flat white) staff argued that I ordered wrong coffee which I have been drinking for past 10 years . Forget about the replacing to correct one she didn't even apologize and charged me again for the another coffee. Definitely never going back to this place.

I am not trying to hurt this business but I must point out that I didn't have a good experience and was really thinking hard on whether to share it or not.
I had a strawberry matcha. I must say they have used a matcha powder mix (not pure matcha) and strawberry syrup and threw a few strawberry pieces into it. It tasted very sugary and charged a high price for it.
Recommendation: please get matcha powder, ITOEN matcha powder (12 sticks of 2g) in Woolworths is only $15.

Cannot beat a couple of freshly poached eggs on toast with a tasty coffee to kick start your day! Friendly service, clean seating, and fast to deliver. Highly recommended.
