Nice hotel in a great location. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment. Spacious and well equipped. The bathroom was on the smaller side. Light rail nearby. A gym better equipped than many fancier hotels. Maybe a cold water fountain would be a nice addition. Having a car, you go straight from carpark to your room, so we only interacted with reception on checkin and out. The carpark was often full on the entry level, but the lower level always had spots.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment. It was very modern, comfortable and clean. It is well equipped for longer stays. The staff were friendly and helpful. We will be staying here again when next in Canberra. The only minor thing I would found useful would have been a bike rack or locker to store my bike in the basement so that we can take advantage of the great bike tracks around Canberra.

Booked this hotel via their own website the day before we arrived. ||||The things I was after which this hotel had||✅ plenty of onsite parking (two levels)||✅ service apartment style for family stay||✅ modern and clean ||✅ convenient location||||I booked a 1 bedroom apartment for myself and my 2 kids. Decided against paying for the pull out couch to be made up at an extra cost but was pleasantly surprised to find it made up when we arrived at no extra charge. ||||The last hotel we stayed at prior to this was the East hotel in Canberra. I would most definitely choose this hotel again based on price and value in comparison. ||||Tram line was right outside, however we did not use it as we had our own car to drive around in. Followed other reviews recommending to book via the hotel website so that parking is included for free. Definitely worth it as there were not many hotels that I came across that did not charge a daily fee. ||||Hotel is very close to Dickson shops which has great variety of restaurants and a proper french bakery.

Great hotel! Clean, quiet and good location. We had a balcony with a nice view overlooking the mountain too. Great little gym too!|Only downside was sometimes by night time the underground parking was quite full, making it difficult to find a park. |Will definitely stay here again.

I cannot speak highly enough about Deco hotel. Our room was extremely clean, bed very comfortable and the service was fantastic. We had free undercover parking since we booked direct with the hotel, something you should always do. It is very well positioned with the tram stop only 200 metres down the road. A short trip on that tram (2 stops) and you get off at the interchange where you can get a bus to basically anywhere in Canberra. On our trip across four states, this is by far the best place we've been. You won't be disappointed. Just book it.

The hotel's location, view of the island and decoration were beautiful. However, the kitchen cabinets and dining chairs were covered in oil, and even the kitchen cabinets had bits of food. The big painting in the living room was covered in dust. And when we took the sheets off our bed there was hair left over from another person on the mattress protector. There were bits of food in the microwave too. When we explained the situation to the person at the reception, he said that this was the cleaning standard and he could not help. I wanted to clean the room myself and when I asked for cleaning supplies and tools they said they couldn't help

We have just spent four nights at Deco Hotel in Canberra and had a wonderful stay. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Parking was easy and always available and we had a lovely dinner in the restaurant one of the evenings. We will definitely stay there again.
