A hidden gem of a cafe in Toowoomba. We ordered some Dutch pancakes, waffle with bacon and maple, scones, and some coffees. Service was fast, food absolutely delicious, and fast, friendly service.

Well, isn't this place just a little treasure! Set in an older building, with quirky decor - accordions on display and tables featuring pyrography to name just two features.

My wife and I have dined here prior, a few years ago during a rough time for hospitality we all know about. That visit, I saw a social media post essentially asking for visitors to help keep the doors open, so we went here. Good experience. Still the same doors if anyone is interested (one operated by a counterweighted pulley)

This time - visiting with good friends and their kids - full house (pleased we booked in advance). Both dine in and take away. It was busy. That means you're doing something right in the world of hospitality at the moment.

An extensive menu at breakfast is generally a red flag, but it largely consists of variations (primarily sweet and savoury pancakes). My wife had the Egg Benedict waffles whilst I had the Amsterdam Breakfast. Without frikandels - they were fresh out this morning and apologised. I left it up to the kitchen to substitute, it appears onion rings made their way in as a replacement.

A double espresso needs to be served in a glass more often in my opinion. My wife enjoyed her hot chocolate (we both had refills). Given how busy the service was, the wait time was extremely reasonable. The only (minor) constructive criticisms that I have is that my pancake was a little overdone in the middle, and my eggs were overcooked for my liking. Perhaps an option on the menu for egg doneness could be a thing?

At this price point, a great option for breakfast in the Toowoomba region.

What an exceptional location to spend a Sunday morning. Being greeted by the biggest smile certainly set the tone of the experience.
Exceptional coffee.
The pancakes were sublime with wonderful flavor, texture and consistency (light & fluffy).
And the service by the two young lads was nothing short of brilliant.
Must go back again to check out more of the menu

What a wonderful experience in Toowoomba. The food was really, really delicious. Very filling. The staff were completely attentive and on the ball as well as being very warm and genuine.
And as an added bonus they gave us the rest of the milkshake that didn't fit into the glass. I haven't seen anyone do that for a long time.
This is one cafe that I will definitely come back to.
