Good night, the act was very good. We had to wait ages for our food though, other than that it was a good night.

Top notch bistro meals! Granted, we probably ordered the most popular items on the menu, and glad to say they did not disappoint.

Started off with an order of cheesy bread (that is, melted cheese on a lovely toasted roll cut in half), and that fills you up quite a bit to start with! In the photo there are only 2 bits of bread, but we had eaten the other 2 bits already before we took the photo.

If I was to try hard just to find something to nit-pick about, maybe I didn't get enough thick cut chips with my chicken parma? But have a look at the photo, and you be the judge.

The chicken caesar salad was also delicious, and we paired it with extra chicken tenders. Thanks Dandy Club - you served us well tonight. Great food, great service, will be back.

Visited this place on Friday, and it was packed. One of our mates had a booking, and we were seated downstairs where the live band is. W ordered food immediately as the crowd was getting bigger and bigger. The price was reasonable and tasty. I had the porterhouse steak with chips ( 150g and cooked perfectly medium rare) whilst my wife had the catch of the day - grilled barramundi with steam veggies. She loved it. Portion of each serving was generous for the price. Will be back to try other options.

This review is for having functions at the club.
I recently held my 60th birthday party in the Heatherton room at the Dandy club. Amit the functions manager always responded quickly to any questions or enquiries, was helpful and very accommodating throughout the whole process. My party was themed 'Sparkles & Sequins' and Amit had the perfect table accessories & decorations to add to my night and I was given easy access to decorate the room. Food wise I chose from the premium canape package and everyone loved the food and there was plenty of it.
Mackenzie looked after us at the bar. Overall it was a hassle free reasonably priced celebration. Could not have asked for a better venue

I simply love Dandenong Club. The band, staff members, food and the overall inviting atmosphere is absolutely fantastic. The people coming to the club every Friday night are well respected and very friendly. I have enjoyed every night I have been there with work colleagues.

We had chicken parma it was nice but you need to change your oil the chip was bad it was to old. Chocolate volcano was just mud cake with chocolate sauce over it and that not a chocolate volcano and way over price at $18. But over all it was a good night first time there. The staff was very friendly and venue is nice.

I had the most awful experience at this club. I went for a meal and forgot to take my licence. I didn’t drive and don’t carry a purse so why would I. Not knowing we would end up there for lunch.
I had been 3 weeks before and they allowed me to sign in.
The girl at reception, April was very rude, condescending and disrespectful when I said I didn’t have my licence and was able to sign in previously.
I asked what she needed and it was a photo ID. I said a have a digital Medicare card and Facebook. She said I needed something like a passport. Now if I didn’t carry my licence I would certainly not be carrying a passport.
When I asked for the manager she said ‘alright lady’, when he came he said he could let me go in this time…. 🤷‍♀️
I was very anxious by this point, shaking and very shaken.
Very disappointed the manger showed no care of how anxious this made me feel.
It was her attitude from the get go, absolutely appalling.
Ended up going somewhere else for lunch as I was quite upset by this humiliating experience. I was treated very poorly and cannot see conditions of entry on the website. Will check again and call them to find out .
I’m not a serial reviewer, first time… I feel strongly about this.

Update after response - whilst the legal side of the situation has now been explained, the venue also advised it was the discretion of the person at reception. And if this is the legal act, why was I allowed in previously Did you break the law
The girl at reception was exceptionally rude.

This was specifically an outing to the downstairs function room where they play bowls. It's a clean modern venue, we had finger food catered to us which was delicious, with lots of variety. The toilets are clean and nearby. The bar fully stocked with wines, beers, premixed drinks, soft drinks and more. The staff are very attentive and very friendly. The only negative was volume of the band was far too loud and could be heard throughout the entire venue including the gaming and bistro area which I'm sure patrons wouldn't have appreciated. All in all its a great place.
