But it is the staff that sets this place apart from everywhere else we have ever stayed.
So attentive to our needs.
So caring.
And helpful beyond our wildest expectations.

We want to say a big thank you to all the staff for such a memorable experience. Before we arrived the lodge contacted us, we completed a preference sheet, booked some trips and started off on a really positive note. It didn’t stop there. We were made to feel welcome, the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and very accomodating to ensure we had a relaxing time.
We ate at the restaurant everyday, and I have to say we were very impressed. We literally feel like we are rolling out of there 😀
We really enjoyed the experience of sleeping in the tree tops, listening to nature, and wildlife spotting.
The day trips arranged via the lodge were fun creating good memories. The massage was ultra relaxing and in our down time we enjoyed reading a book by the pool.
We needed this down time and time to relax, and it certainly exceeded our expectations.

The Daintree ecolodge is a special place. We planned on staying 2 nights but stayed 4 nights instead and absolutely loved being in a comfortable room surrounded by a gorgeous rainforest.

The rooms- well designed, incredibly clean, very comfortable beds with nice pillows. We had the rainforest view room with a bathtub on the screened in porch. The rooms have amazing screens that block all bugs and allow you to open windows and enjoy the fresh air without dealing with that aspect. The shower pressure is great, and it’s a rainfall shower!

The lobby and staff- huge shoutout to Rob and Julia for making our stay even better. Not only fun and interesting to talk to, but these two are the hardest working people I’ve seen. They had our every possible need taken care of- from helping with activities (solar whisperer tour was fantastic) in the area to bug spray advice.

The dinner- first off, reasonably priced for an upscale dinner. Second off, the chef has some of the most creative dishes done incredibly well. We loved the gnocchi, the lamb, the kale and corn salad (the best) and the reef fish. The lemon sorbet was another big favorite for dessert.

Amazing rooms and locations! The staff is amazing! They helped us plan amazing activities and helped us feel welcome. We looked forward to meal time when we got to chat with them and hear their story and experiences. We would recommend everyone stay here!

We had a great stay at the eco lodge. Everyone who worked there was soooo nice and informative. The food was incredible, and the nature surrounding us was amazing. If you are going to stay anywhere in the Daintree, this is the place. We will be back!!! Highly recommend.

We stayed for 2 nights in one of the tree lodges. The accommodation is excellent and the experience of sleeping and waking with the surrounding Rainforest is a lifelong memory. The staff were first class and arranged trips for us and the food and restaurant were wonderful. Couldn't recommend it more highly.

Loved everything about our stay, the room was great, listening to the rainforest as we slept was amazing! The food at the restaurant was outstanding and the activity recommendation from the staff really made our trip. Hope we get to visit again one day!

Daintree ecolodge definitely needs a whole new structure starting from their front end team to the housekeeping staff, they need consistency and people with experience …||So first off the room wasn’t so clean when we checked in, bathroom especially ! Secondly we had to change rooms the next day which we knew but the reception she told us one room needs to be vacated by 10 am so we did that and then she’s like no the other room needs to be vacated ! Whole differnt level of inefficiency ! Anywyas so we vacated by 10 but we only got the new room by 130 and then we just decided to leave early and head off to cairns cause we were quite disappointed with the service and staff both||Food was great but we asked them at 150pm if chef can make something for the kids but he said it’s almost 2 he can’t make anything out of the menu ||Basically no customer service , it was literally like they’re making no effort whatsoever for anything in our stay ! ||Oh well property is VERY AVG ! We did the crocodile sunset river cruise was ok and we did the atv ride that was fanstastic ! ||They definitely need an overall asap and experienced trained staff ! For the price we paid for 2 rooms , nothing was upto the mark
