Great holiday apartments. Well appointed and maintained.
Awesome heated pool and spa (two areas)
Direct access to beach, close to park and cafes

We only stayed here for two nights. Staff were very friendly both in person and by email and they were happy to organise a late check in and to leave our bags there if required before checking in. The location is perfect, especially for families. Right on the beach, next door to the lagoon and the Pirate Park playground. Easy and secure underground carparking. Gardens and pool area are lovely. The apartment was comfortable and well appointed, if a little dated. The downsides of our stay here were that we booked a "Pool View" apartment and we were nowhere near the pool. In fact, we were on the very outside of the complex, which also caused issues with internet coverage. Had we been staying longer I would have requested to be moved. All in all we enjoyed our stay and we would stay here again.

Currumbin Sands was simply fantastic, I live locally and my family likes to stay on the Gold Coast to take little trips throughout the year. My kids are now in high school and the type of serviced apartment and amenities they desire have changed a bit. This place was perfect for my two eighth graders. The property looks a little old from the outside but it is well maintained and the rooms are very spacious. They had a smart TV so we could stream movies and a large table big enough to set up a 1000 piece puzzle which was a great bonus. I was surprised at how much sand and ocean we could see from the second floor, view was great and beach access just a short two minute walk from our door. The bathrooms were dated but also large and had all the things you need, full washer dryer and a bathtub too. The BEST part (aside from the ocean views) was the pool near the beach block. It had a large pool with water feature, a medium sized pool kept at 35 degrees and a spa. It was heavenly. They also had a toilet there and tables with BBQs. We will definitely keep coming back and plan to book here for a week or two each year. It is close to local restaurants (Balboa Italian being a favourite) and two blocks from PBC High. Every single staff person we encountered from the cleaning staff to the front desk was welcoming, kind, courteous and helpful. This place is a hidden gem.

Stayed here in Jan 2023, with a large group (8 adults 5 kids), The 2 apartments were spacious with generous lounge areas - great for big family dinners/catchups. The property is only 150m from the oceanfront - no road crossings and the playground/park and calm water swimming is not far either great for the little kids.

I also left some headphones at the accomodation which the management kindly located and posted them back to me - great customer service. Would highly recommend here for a summer holiday.

Stayed late September 2019. Loved the apartment, right next to one of the pools. Had everything we needed, clean, airy and nice decor. Amazing location near beach, estuary, playground, cafe, markets we could walk everywhere. We had a baby and a 5 year old and travelling from NZ it was the perfect family holiday. Also loved how the pools are heated. Already planning a trip back 🙂

Great place to stay, friendly staff, booked 6-bed apartment top floor overlooking park and beach, fantastic location and would recommend. Pools and gardens really nice. However a few maintenance issues need to be rectified in apartment 72. Not cleaned adequately - windows dirty, crumbs all over the rug and someone's footwear left under coffee table. Aircon not working and single beds way too small for the adults in our party (ideal for children 2-10 yrs). Understand the apartments are privately owned, so get your act together owners as $300 per night calls for squeaky clean rooms and comfortable beds please.

We stayed in No 54, it was beachfront with 2 bedrooms. The rooms were clean tidy and roomy. The kitchen facilities and laundry were great. The view was amazing.We had the washing machine break down on the first day and it was replaced that same day. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The pool and spa were great and access to shops, beach, walking trails , Currumbin Creek, airport and attractions were easy. I'd certainly recommend it to anyone including families. There is NO lift access. We are definately coming back.
