We stayed here for the weekend. Easy ferry ride to access the cottages. We were greeted on arrival by Adam and Cathie who helped with our bags to the cottage.

I loved the private beach and the animals were close to our cottage the whole weekend. The beach is super quiet I could only hear the animals and the waves.

The cottage we stayed in was magpie and it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We just needed to bring our own food. Bbq was close so we could cook each day out in the open.

I would definitely come back here again. The whole experience was relaxing and peaceful.

Currawong is such a beautiful, calm and tranquil place to stay, literally like stepping back in time. We were very comfortable in our simple cabin and would have given 5 * if it weren't for the smoke alarms going off every night. The friendly and helpful site Manager, Adam, told us that they're having 'issues' with the entire system so hopefully that will be resolved as it's no fun being woken several times in the dead of night by the screeching of smoke alarms. Apart from that it was heavenly; the golf course is great fun, the tennis courts are in good condition, the beach is calm and safe for swimming and there is great kayaking in the area (with kayaks to hire on site). Highly recommend - we all need to keep going there so that it never closes and never changes! Thank you for a lovely stay.

We recently stayed over there as a group of 20 and had the most amazing weekend!

Cath & Adam went above and beyond to ensure we were looked after.
They met us at the wharf to assist with our bags and showed us to our cabins. Any questions we had were answered and all facilities were lovely and clean.

We have rebooked for next year!

I had an opportunity to stay here over the weekend for a friend’s birthday party. What an amazing spot, it’s so tranquil and relaxed. The managers of the cottage are so hospitable and helpful. I’m super keen to book again mid week outside of school holiday periods. We stayed in blue tongue cottage which is well equipped and located on the shores. It’s real hidden gem, if you are happy to cater for yourself and looking for a place to unwind and chill. If your 5 star hotel person and are fussy it’s probably not for you, but if your a camping type of person wanting something special with no need to carry camping gear etc, this is your spot.

The best weekend get away ever!
I have been going to Currawong since I was a kid and just had our first weekend with all our friends, we have already secured our spot for next year. We had such an amazing time, renting out Midholme and two other cabins to fit about 26 of us. The caretakers - Cath and Adam, are so incredibly kind and accomodating. The cabins are all clean, well stocked and very cosy. Tennis court, golf course, beach volley ball, jumping off the wharf, bush walks - so many fun activities to do.
Couldn't recommend visiting Currawong more!

What a stunning place to stay. An absolute hidden gem!
The beauty of the beach, the softness of the sand, the A1 cleanliness of the cottages, the great activities that filled our day & the accommodating caretakers made it every reason why we will definitely be back. We couldn’t rate Currawong Beach Cottages high enough. We forgot our coffee on the way & Kathy was more than helpful, lending us theirs.
They helped us take our luggage to our cottage & to the ferry. It’s not often you get hospitality so genuine.

We had the best of times at Currawong Beach Cottages. We loved the beautiful location and newly renovated cottages, the children roamed all day, and the caretakers, Cheryl and Vince, were just wonderful. Friendly and helpful, they were a highlight of our week-long stay. This was our fourth stay in 20 years, and we will sure be back again. Thank you for the memories!

Beautiful secluded location, lots of wildlife around the cabins, fun for the kids to roam safely around the site. While 3 of the cabins have been recently renovated (these are the ones featured on the council's website), cabins #3-8 are in their original condition - very dilapidated, but functional. We were a bit surprised by how run-down our cabin was, given we paid $875 for 3 nights (staying in early December 2021). The paint is peeling off the ceiling in big chunks, the shower head sprays water everywhere so that the entire bathroom floor is wet - but if you have low expectations about the condition of the cabin you'll probably enjoy your stay!

The caretakers were really friendly and helpful.
