Stayed at the caravan park it was nice but not really lived up to the expectations of the online brochure I think they’ve lost the meaning of Ecco village and asked at the office wether the tap water at the camp site was drinking water as no signs saying it wasn’t! But the woman had no idea ? That’s a bit of a worry especially for people from other countries who may not think to ask as I couldn’t get an answer I decided not to use it and also no site numbers again the woman couldn’t find where I was camping to put on my receipt for payment but otherwise a nice peaceful place for a short stay

Gorgeous country community. Kangaroos, fresh water creeks, and delicious food at Ikigai Cafe and the Sourdough bakery.

Crystal Waters market is a village feel wi mth an accessible cafe with hot fresh falafel bc the chef just offered me one and seriously delish. Fantastic out of the way destination location about 15 mins north of Maleny, it's a nice drive and a great market when there's a lot of stall holders. Unfortunately not that many the day we were there however we have been when there's many. Picked up some organic produce to bring home.

Crystal Waters Eco village nestled in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland was the most peaceful and idyllic location I’ve stayed in so far on Vanlife travels. The park is set amongst beautiful scenery with an abundance of wildlife stopping by to say hi. Facilities are clean and the community kitchen is very cute and everything you need to cook up a lovely meal or bbq is supplied. Just bring your food and you’re good to go. Excellent wifi in the kitchen area. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. Pop on down to village green to the Flowerpot Cafe or Sourdough Bakery. Or go for a dip in the beautiful creeks or ponds. Be aware it is Land for Wildlife so no doggies or cats are allowed. Great price for what they offer. Peace and quiet, we’ll set out private campsites. Highly recommend.

The camping area looking to the lake is beautiful but look back around behind the camp area is an ecological disaster, overgrown with lantana and a sad sight with broken down structures, and the camp area has been over run with permanent campers sadly bordering on homelessness.||The village area was great. Just a shame about the camping area. I am sure this was not the intent of the founders to let the land degrade with invasive weeds and more permanent than casual stayers.

I drove up from Maleny to visit the market which was amazing
It’s held on the first Saturday of the month from 8 am to 1 pm
Please note that the route via postman ridge road while bitumened is exceptionally steep and narrow and great care should be taken! It does save a few minutes but for many it’s not worth it!
The community is based on permaculture ideas etc ! The markets are based on stalls from the community ! The wood fired sourdough bakery being a major supplier of goods ! Get in early as they may run out! It’s got a rustic feel and there’s not much else around here
