Rooms are small and have cracks in the furniture. Service was good on the first two days after that the cleaning team didn’t even remove the trash from the room. Breakfast just works if you arrive early. We passed by around 10am just to grab a juice or a cup of coffee to go and one of the gentleman there was very aggressive in how they were going to close in 30 minutes. Mind you, 30 minutes when we didn’t even want to seat at the place. Just grab and go. I had a couple of Zoom meetings with a different time zone and when asked for rooms with quiet place to talk at 2 and 3 am local they denied the request and in just one day the lady reduce the volume of the sound. Location is good because is near a great mall. Not coming back.

Had a really enjoyable stay at Crowne Plaza Macquarie Park. The accommodation was super comfortable and spotless — everything felt fresh and well-maintained. The food was a pleasant surprise too: really tasty, reasonably priced, and better than you’d expect for hotel dining. What stood out most though was the service. Every staff member was helpful and professional, and special shout-out to Serena, the hospitality leader — she went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Warm, welcoming and clearly passionate about what she does. Would definitely stay again.

Service was wonderful. Everyone was so kind, breakfast Buffet was great, rooms were clean and nice.

The bathrooms were quite small which was a little uncomfortable but that is the only downside.

Hotel reception validated our parking and there was plenty of really close parking.

Shopping centre is nearby and plenty of restaurants and cafes just across the road.

We would've loved to hire a movie or something other than free to air tv cause we didn't arrive in Sydney till quite late and weren't able to sleep.

All in all we had a great experience all hotel staff were professional and friendly and we were so grateful to have been there

5 minute walk to Macquarie Park station and about 10-15 mins walk to Macquarie Centre shops. Not many food options nearby, unless you want to run across 8 lanes of traffic.

Rooms are standard. Clean. Walls are thin. Restaurant staff were FABULOUS! But housekeeping girls on our floor were incredibly loud, talking, chatting loudly non stop while I was trying to sleep.

We stayed here for two nights to attend a funeral in the area. Room was good and clean although missing a couple of standard things we expected to find. There was no bottled water in the room or soap in the bathroom to wash hands after using the toilet. We were very touched by the outstanding compassion shown by one of the staff Sarah working in the restaurant, seeing that we were still emotional after the funeral, went above and beyond to see that we were looked after. This level of outstanding service will ensure we return here for our next stay.

Overall good accommodation in this area for the price. Better all around to the Quest and certainly better than Mercure where I would advise not to stay.
Quiet comfortable room except I hate vinyl flooring. Mr Manager, tell your cleaners to use spray bleach in the showers to remove the mould from the grout. And change the shower gel from the cheapie to one that doesn't sting the eyes.
The bathroom light shines through to the bedroom at night because of a glass wall so it's impossible to not disturb your partner. Oh, and beware the toilet lid is not soft close especially important at 2am!
The restaurant is LOUD with decibel rating above 69 reduced to 66 after most people left with 40% children. Because of glass windows, tiled floor and gyprock ceiling causing high reflection of sound so take your earmuffs to breakfast otherwise be prepared to shout! And Mr Manager, turn.the. background sound down in the restaurant and reception where decibel rating was 55. Why do you have it so loud. It really doesn't make the ambience better. And while you're about it put a sign.in the lift what floor the reception.is on (2).
Breakfast is $35 all inclusive (1 coffee) and the rather dopey said there was no alternative but when pressed produced an a la carte of individual choices. We had poached egg on smashed avo served on bread beneath which was paper. Now I like to read the paper at breakfast not eat it, so please Mr Manager get the chef to get rid of the paper. It's not as cool as you think.
BTW there is no concierge and no Foxtel to no international news. This is not a 5 star hotel!

Letdown to Crown Plaza and IHD!!

Light switch on entry was dirty, old dog eared card in slot to turn in power.

Huge crack in bathroom basin, thread bear towels. No complimentary products in bathroom.

Cabinetry broken and laying on floor, blue tape obviously didn’t hold it together.

Piles of dust on window sills and skirting boards.

Front of sliding door handle missing, could not lock door.

Balcony dirty!

Scratch marks on bed head and torn vinyl.

Table had a sticky stain on it!

No shelves in fridge or fridge door.

Uncomfortable mattress with Mattresses protector too small for bed, making it more uncomfortable.

Breakfast in restaurant- food wasn’t hot and not replenished when empty, my third attempt gave me good but wasn’t hot.

Special order of poached eggs- they were just warm and gloating in a small bowl

Of water, whites were runny, not cooked property..

Over all very disappointing for this class of accomodation,

- king premium room.

Reception did look into lack of cleanliness and told us that the place was rundown waiting for refurbishment.

We have stayed at quite a few Crown Plaza hotels and this one was not up to standard and a waste of our money!!

Not too sure how this hotel is considered upscale and branded as a Crowne Plaza. The hotel has glimpses of a refresh combined with glimpses of it’s dated reality. The IHG clean promise of “guests being reassured that good isn’t good enough - committed to high levels of cleanliness” was not evident here - dirty fridge, dirty cutlery, chip crumbs on window ledge and a blood stained doona was our in-room experience. ||The Crowne Plaza Dare to Connect concept of anticipating guest needs through an intuitive, unscripted service style is also lacking - we opted to dine in the hotel restaurant after a tiring 8 hour drive and asked if it was ok to dine in the outdoor area. Whilst the restaurant wasn’t busy, we felt it best to keep the kids outside, as to not disturb others. The staff response was “that is ok but just make sure you order at the bar as I might forget about you”! ||Basic security features were lacking with anybody able to walk in off the street, access the lift, go up to the floors and wander the corridors without anybody noticing. ||Another IHG stay and another disappointing experience.
