We spend about 3rd of the year in ihg hotels in UK. The Crown Plaza Sydney Airport is outstanding. We had a great clean room and the bed was so comfortable with lovely comfortable pillows. We even received a complimentary bottle of wine and card for being diamond members. The staff are amazing, friendly and professional and so welcoming. The breakfast was amazing. It was beautifully presented and very tasty. The breakfast staff couldn't do enough for us. A massive thumbs up. Would definitely recommend.

We could not recommend this hotel highly enough. First and foremost the staff (including Ashleigh as manager) are caring and accommodating in a manner that is uncommon in global hotel chains. We had a medical emergency whilst staying and the staff were exemplary and so supportive. The facilities and rooms are thoughtful and curated for this price point. The room has a coffee machine, there is sparkling water in the lobby, a weighing machine for luggage prior to going to the airport, towels in the gym etc etc. All very thoughtful touches that indicate the service is not cutting corners and trying to add value. We loved the location being so proximate to the airport, but with great coffee, eateries and a train station minutes walking distance away. Thanks so much for everything!

This hotel was a very last minute booking due to a cancelled flight, but heck they were amazing! Staff were very friendly and helpful upon our arrival and went out of their way to ensure we were catered for. Arriving stressed due to Jetstar last minute flight cancellation, the wonderful reception staff were super helpful and couldn’t have done more for us. Helped to our room which was stunning, we were finally able to relax knowing the shuttle bus for the morning was booked at no cost - even better! The bed was super comfy and enormous so my hubby and I had one of the best nights sleep in weeks👍 even though we were at the airport we heard no noise from planes etc and I have booked this hotel for another trip in a few months, I can 100% recommend this great hotel for anyone needing an airport hotel 10/10

Newly renovated room according to my wife as she used to stay here when she comes to Sydney for work. Overall decent. Good service. Clean. Can be a little bit cramp if you’ve got 4 luggages for family of 4. Convenient walk to shops, restaurants and train. No concierge. Good stopover hotel. Price reasonable.

WARNING. Don’t stay at this hotel.|After checking into the hotel and finding our room. My wife and I were having a rest on the bed when, without waring of any sort, the door was opened and a staff member entered. There was no knock or verbal request. The surprise by my wife and my self was devastating. I was glad I was there and my wife was not accidently alone in the room. I immediately contacted the front desk and was extremely disappointed with the response. There was no respect for out dignity or how emotionally shocked we both were and only offered a cold and weak cup of coffee as some sort of compensation. The experience was absolutely horrifying. |There are a number of other hotels close by suitable for Airport access that have appropriate security for personal belongings and individual wellbeing, not to have to stay in this hotel.

Our time was very good, though short.

We stayed here because of its proximity and it’s reviews. We were very happy with our stay. As we were heading to the airport early in the morning, the shuttle provided for $12 was worth it.

The team was exceptional and helpful at every turn.

Stayed for one night on transit prior to flying elsewhere. The last time I stayed here it was a Holidsy inn back in 2019.

This time round it is a Crowne Plaza which was ok.

Staff were good and attentive and made me feel welcome in the reception area.

The restaurant was a disappointment, the chicken burger I had was mostly breadcrumbs with a little bit of chicken in them, with chips that may have been under a hot lamp for too long as they were crunchy outside with no potato inside. I did point this out to the Waitress but it was shrugged off.

Room was comfortable with a nice upgrade for us.

However, there was an adjoining door to the room next door where the soundproofing could have been better but sadly not only could I hear the pinging to the arriving elevator on one side of the room, but had to lesson to the horizontal jogging activities of the couple next door. It appeared that they certainly enjoyed themselves.

The gym was ok for a basic workout

Overall, I was slightly disappointed in this hotel and this stay but I would stay again, mainly because I’m a fan of IHG hotels

First time visiting Australia and the hotel didn’t disappoint. The staff were professional and friendly while the room was comfortable for the one night stay. We also had the breakfast which was easily the best I’ve had overseas. A+ hotel and staff, definitely recommend this location.
