Recommend this hotel for families with children.
The indoor pool is way smaller than the picture and the water was on the cold side. But they provide you with the beach towel and floaty noodles which was good. The deeper end of the pool is 1.8m.
They also have a playground and the kids zone with table tennis and some toys and colouring.
The walk outside the hotel around the small lake is lovely.
Breakfast was neatly presented.
Food was average at the bar just across the reception.
We had to wait for 40 minutes to get our dinner served. (4 dishes) I had to go and ask after seeing the table who ordered after us got served before us! Feels like they missed us because the food was lukewarm which was a bit of a let down...
1 night stay was definitely too short. I recommend staying at least two nights to fully enjoy the atmosphere of and around this lovely hotel and suburb.

A beautiful location for a short trip away from Sydney. Staff were delightful though service could be sharper (for example my friend and i waited at the reception for 3 staff members to finish talking to each other - it took a while); I was just struck that hotel staff would prioritise their own chat over helping customers. Food was not bad, though don’t expect to be blown away. Rooms are large and comfortable. The gym does need a serious update (and possibly proper cleaning), but there is a little playground for kids which would appeal to young families. All in all a lovely stay, notwithstanding some polishing of their staff.

We have only just had our wedding at Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury and WOW! The grounds were beautiful, food was spectacular, everything went off without a hitch. Above everything else the staff made the weekend so easy and were incredibly detail oriented. Of course our wedding coordinator was lovely having to deal with my confusing emails for a year but I wanted to give a shout out to Cassie and Elyse who brought desserts up to our room after the wedding at midnight and were there more than happy to do anything. I’m so incredibly grateful and for a wedding venue, I’d recommend to everyone.

Stayed here over the Father’s Day weekend and had a 10/10 experience. The room was super spacious and very modern/nicely renovated. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and include a little play area with slide for little ones. Our toddler loved running around the open spaces and it was handy for tiring him out before bed.

The buffet breakfast that was included in the room charge was hands down the best hotel breakfast we have ever had. Really impressed with the variety and quality.

The whole vibe was perfect for families and will definitely be back with friends /family ! This one’s a keeper.

A lovely location for a birthday weekend away! We appreciated the towels and pool noddles when enjoying the pool and spa and the kids particularly loved the hot chocolate station in the foyer. Being offered sticks and marshmallows for toasting over the fire was another huge hit. The room was set up well allowing the 5 (2A, 3C) of us to sleep comfortably in one room. The rain shower head was divine. Walking the beautiful gardens after an amazing buffet breakfast was lovely. So many little touches made the weekend special - another being a complementary bottle of sparkling to celebrate.

We had a beautiful 2 night stay. What a gorgeous location. We enjoyed the great hospitality and helpfulness of all the team members at the hotel. Nothing was a problem for them and they were always smiling.Everything was great. Enjoyed the high tea on Sunday. The sauna was just what was needed after a few days of travelling.
Definitely will be staying again.

May be biased as we had our wedding here over 5 years ago but we love the place.

Older buildings add to the heritage and charm of the region with beautifully manicured grounds.

The breakfast here is very good and the barracks bar, although not the best food is still enjoyable.

Would def recommend if you are not on a budget then try their signature restaurant named Harvest.

Free parking is also a good perk for staying here as well

Everything about this stay was awesome. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast buffet was honestly one of the best I have ever had and I travel a lot including international travel for both work and pleasure. As awesome as every thing was the best part of the stay was not the physical things, but the people that work there. It would be doing them a disservice to say they were good. They were phenomenal!

Our experience in Australia so far has been that the people here (especially those in the hospitality industry) are the friendliest and most welcoming people that I have ever met in my many travels. The employees here have been no exception. They have been fantastic. Starting with Julie at the front desk was the employee we had the most dealings with and you would think we were longtime friends. If I had a hospitality business I would want as many “Julie’s” as I could possibly get. Amazing lady and really made our stay special. Additionally was the young lady at the breakfast buffet in the morning that made the coffees. She was also a delight to deal with. Unfortunately her name escapes me at the moment.

Thanks to everyone at the hotel for making this stay as awesome as it was!
