Bought some pizza here last night, they were tasteless and probably the worst pizza I've had in the last 20 years!! Not sure how you can make a pizza tasteless? but they managed to do it! Definitely will not be eating here in the future

Thought we’d give our local another try after not visiting for the longest time, because of the food. They’ve changed it again, this time to Italian. Pizzas were quite ok, small for the prices. The whole place smells of a mix of cigarettes and sickly sweet cleaning products, which permeates even the outside bistro area. No Friday specials. Tradies left as we arrived and expressed their disappointment in their burgers. Given another chance, won’t be back this time. Shame.

Shout out to the wonderful staff at crossways. This is a family friendly establishment that just got even better with their kids eat free Sunday to Wednesday deal. Has good food options and a kids play area. Would recommend

Since the change in chefs, the quality of the menu has improved significantly and the prices are very generous for what is offered. The salads are fresh, the burgers are juicy, and the schnitzels and parmagianas are nice and tender, not tough. The flavours are all very complementary and not overwhelming and I have been very impressed by their offering of wines and beers on tap. Great for a gathering with friends.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. When I inquired if the chicken and mushroom risotto could be made gluten-free, the manager initially said “100% yes” and went to confirm with the chef, who stated it could not be done. Despite this, the manager dismissed my concerns, saying, "It's early morning, there won’t be many breadcrumbs—you’ll be fine."

As someone extremely intolerant to gluten, I felt highly disregarded and dismissed. This level of ignorance about dietary restrictions is unacceptable, especially for a restaurant. Gluten intolerance is not a preference but a serious health issue for many, and this response showed a complete lack of understanding or care. I hope the management takes feedback like this seriously to prevent future incidents.

Whilst looking at the updated menu we were reading some of the recent reviews to help us decide what to order. We were about to leave due to some of the reviews, but thought we’ve come here many times and yes we realise the menu has been updated so we should try and decide for ourselves. There are still a few traditional pub food options like burgers, schnitzels, steak, fish and chips and they’ve added some additional Italian meals. We were very happy with our food. The pub was bustling and a great atmosphere with many groups of friends and families. We will continue to support our local pub.
