What a great place for a feed.
We enjoyed our meals (schnitzel) and relaxed on the balcony with our pooch.
The staff were great, opened the door when we had our hands full, brought some water out for our hair ball and generally were friendly and happy.
I would definitely recommend stopping by for a meal and I will if we ever come back.
The back verandah is an awesome spot.

Nice pub, friendly staff with a pretty good atmosphere. The outside area is very nice and comfortable on a summers day. Ordered the smoked rissoles which were delicious, friend ordered one of the prawn dishes but was disappointed there were only three prawns in it. Like most pubs now I suppose a schooner of beer is too expensive so only had one instead of two. Overall pretty good.

Becka was fabulous. The best service I have experienced in a long time. Becka went above and beyond to cater for all our dietary requirements. Husband is on a special diet and Becka sorted out a special egg meal for him, Gluten free for me and my friend had a vegan meal. All meals were cooked to perfection.
We arrived to find our table had been decorated for our Xmas get together with Bon bons for everyone as well.
We will not hesitate to have lunch at the Criterion anytime we are in Dalby.

To me, food item was not as described. Ate half there and then tasted it all night. No soap in the bathroom to wash hands before or after meals or toileting. Other party enjoyed their pasta though. For the price, won't bother again.

BUT
My first 2 choices were out, so I chose lamb shank. Overpriced and under delivered. Meal was under whelming and certinally not good value for money.

Tonight 19 december at the criterion was a ok the parmy was great for parmy night Wednesdays. But the quantity for the cheesey pasta probably wouldnt suit a child above 5 yrs old could be improved but it was still nice flavours thru dish. Staff always friendly. The table wasnt where i would of liked it considering i booked it and ask for other side of place not at the bar area with arcade games. But u can't win them all.

There again 17 October 2018 went to the wednesday night double parmys night well worth it still get a lot of salad and chips with the two parmy schnitzel. With a variety of toppers too.

Great place to eat got the full USA ribs for $32 it was worth it meat falling off the bone. Also got the 5 kids meals and chicken schnitzel. All meal cane out hot and quick as per order. Kids meals come with free ice cream and a good serving for kids. If you got 5 or more people good to book ahead. This is a Friday night and it was a little busy by 7pm this night. The staff was great and helpful. The nice fireplace with couches a nice touch. For a quiet drink or the main bar or beer garden for more socail atmosphere. Beer garden huge TV is great too.
