Our cabin was generally grubby. Most of the kitchen items were grimey, wet or had food stuck on.
Some of the bed linen had what looked like cigarette burn holes and the towels had some stains.
The fridge freezes any items near the top, but otherwise was okay.
Aircon only functioned as a fan, and the ceiling fan had a thick layer of dust on it.
Wifi was slow, smart tv was a bit unresponsive, appliances were clean.
Shower was dripping when we arrived and couldn't turn it off fully.
Bed had uncomfortable springs coming through.
Bedroom floor was quite wet when we arrived, so we had to air it out.

The view of hills was nice, lockbox was easy, location was easy to find, and it was fairly quiet considering.

Location is very good. After hour check i was also easy. Only issue is with provided facilities. Specially Dining set. All chairs had very bad red stain and felt like (someone inured and haven't changed the chairs). Very unhygienic.

We enjoyed our week staying at Crestview tourist park with a big group. We stayed in a family villa. It was warm, comfortable, and mostly clean and tidy. The park itself was spotless- everything well-kept and looking lovely.

The kitchen was well equipped with a microwave, oven and gas stove. Everything we needed for our stay. Also included tea, coffee, milk and sugar which was a nice touch.

All staff we interacted with were lovely!

The bathroom had some mould. Curtains in the bunk bed room were constantly falling off with the slightest touch. There were no locks on the windows which is unnerving. Anyone could open them from the outside. Some windows had short wooden dowel in them though. Curtains in all rooms were dirty.

The BBQ was great although it cost $1 to use every time which is unusual (in our experience) for a caravan park.

The laundry washing machines were covered in mould and expensive at $5 a load. It smelt mouldy and musty when entering.

It would be great to have better quality pillows on the beds. They were just the cheapest, thinnest, very uncomfortable pillows. Otherwise the bedrooms were ok and warm during our cold winter visit.

Kids loved the playground. It would be wonderful if there was a light at the playground for night time as it is open until 8pm. Kids would have loved to use the heated pool but it was closed while we were there.

It was a great, central location with lots of nearby shops and a short drive to the main areas of Canberra.

If I could rate this park on potential alone, it would easily be a 5-star experience. The layout, amenities, and kid-friendly environment suggest it could be a wonderful spot. Unfortunately, it seems the park is in the midst of a management change, and the impact is noticeable.

Cleanliness, for instance, is a big issue: shoeprints on "clean" sheets, smudges on "clean" pillowcases, greasy rangehoods, dusty curtains—everything needs a thorough cleaning. The pillows are basic, the bed is quite firm, and the fold-out couch isn't comfortable, sinking into stained cushions as soon as you sit.

On the bright side, the cabin itself is well equipped, with a stovetop, fridge, dishwasher, and air conditioning. However, the WiFi is pretty slow. The park setup is nice, especially for families with young children, and has a lot of potential.

The camp kitchen was disappointing, as the BBQs require $1 coins to operate despite being a private park, not a council one. It would be great if these facilities were included, considering the cost of the stay.

Overall, if you’re bringing your own caravan or motorhome, you'd likely have a more comfortable visit, with privacy landscaping between some sites and gravel areas with power. I hope management will address the cleanliness and maintenance issues soon, as the park has a lot to offer with a little extra care.

I hope the new manager is able to start to get the deep cleaning under control. I look forward to seeing how the park could be.

Perfect place for me and my 90yr old Dad to stay a night for a little 2 night getaway Wollongong-Canberra-Batemans Bay. Very good price for a comfy 2 bedroom villa. My bed (the double in the bunk room) was one of the comfiest mattresses I've ever slept on (and I'm a bad sleeper). Couldn't believe there was even a dishwasher (didn't use it, but still!!) And 3 TVs in this cabin. Clean, modern and could highly recommend. Good shower too, and nice cosy air conditioning. Didn't meet any staff but all communication was awesome!!

We had an ensuite site and appreciated the privacy offered by hedging between the sites.

Ensuite facility requires an update with increased water pressure, albeit being clean and tidy.

There appears to be quite a few permanent residents.

Children’s playground area and communal kitchen/cooking facilities looked good.

It seems the place is being used as crisis accommodation..
Other guests swearing, fighting riding off road bikes and cars around just bad vibes to be around which I would not normally blame a park for but this is a regular occurrence.
Having to pay for the BBQ is ridiculous honestly a joke.. add the price onto the already inflated prices you charge don't expect people to carry around 40 dollars in gold coins to cook dinner and wash some clothes..
Worst caravan park I have ever stayed in. Poor service, poor vibes due to dogs and other badly behaved guests who had clearly been there a while.
