Good quality hotel in close proximity to the Cradle Mountain National Park. Breakfast was a little crazy with only a few staff on deck. Dinner much better managed with excellent service from the waiter staff.

Accommodations were fine - it’s the little things that annoy - our door was very loud to open and close. It looked like it’s been like that for ages.

I loved the quality of the common-room fire places. I really enjoyed staying here. There are many days worth of trekking and exploration.

The food was excellent, especially at dinner. Please try the restaurant here. Noteworthy and deserving of praise.

The family and I had an excellent stay at Cradle Mountain Hotel! The hotel is surrounded by beautiful Tasmanian alpine bushland with an abundance of wildlife. Internally the hotel has a wonderful warm ambience with multiple fireplaces to sit around and peacefully take time out to relax. All the staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful and we were even greeted by the general manager Adam at both check-in and breakfast!! Speaking of which - the buffet breakfast had a wonderful selection with everything we could have asked for and more and we had ample food options for dinner. We enjoyed visiting the art gallery which contained a wide and varied selection of exhibits. I recommend a stay at the Cradle Mountain Hotel if visiting the beautiful Cradle Mountain region of Tasmania.

Amazing experience from the get go. Super friendly staff from the hotel to the restaurant. The chalet was perfectly cleaned, warm and comfortable. Lots of wildlife with amazing views of the mountains. We'll definitely come back. Highly recommend.

Front office staff very good.||Easy access to Hotel and plenty of parking. It actually snowed while we were there - awesome. Close to Info centre and Devil feeding. We went to the devil feeding - it was fun. The place is really good - looking after the Devils and Quolls. Staff excellent. Unfortunately we had someone on our tour that wanted to show off her knowledge and never stopped asking questions she already knew the answer to. Delayed us quite a bit.||Easy drive to Info Centre and walks. Maybe get the Nat Park Pass before you come ? Tip: Check out all of them - the Annual One may be better than a daily one. We used it in a number of places over our 3 week road trip.||Shower a tad ordinary but hot. Lovely view out - especially the snow. Hotel brekkie was very good - and the fires around the building. We sat in front of one to have a few drinks and eat our cheese supply. Staff excellent.

Stayed for 4 days.. Loved it! From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the treks and gave us a rundown of what was around. We booked the online special, room, $200 credit at hotel restaurant, hiking passes daily, buffet breakfast! It was glorious! Restaurant dinners were amazing, hikes ( and the process to park and ride bus) was seamless. Wish we could have stayed longer. Rooms a tiny bit noisy as wooden floors in hallways but no big deal. Fireplaces everywhere!

Absolutely beautiful! We had a room with a magnificent view. The beds were like sleeping on cotton wool! The food was delicious. If you're up in the national park worth stopping here. Would have loved to of had a massage but the lady was away. The whole mood of this place is romantic. With wood fires, and verandahs of the eating area over looking bushland.

We spent 3 days at this property. It was beautiful even if the weather was not so good. Check in was great , very helpful staff who gave advice and answered all my questions.| Large bedroom with tea making facilities, iron and ironing board in the room which was great as they also have a laundry room where you can use the washer and dryer free of charge.|We had breakfast included which was a beautiful buffet, hot and cold with fresh bakes and juices.|There are a choice of two dining options for dinner.| 1 Bar Food which was delicious or if you wanted something fancier| 2 Altitude Restaurant.|Throughout this property there are areas where they have a stove lighting with comfortable seating, ideal to sit and read a book or plan the next days adventure.| There is also an art gallery on site which was amazing and well worth a visit.|Just a short distance up the road is the Cradle Mountain National Park. here also you will find the only Petrol pump we could find (in the carpark).|Also about a 5 min drive from the property is where you can do a Tasmanian Devil Experience". This would need to be pre booked but definitely worth it. We loved our stay at The Cradle Mountain Hotel. |Thank You To All.

This place ticked all the boxes, we couldn’t fault it in any way. The rooms were comfortable and clean. There are fireplaces throughout, best being there’s one in each accommodation wing - prefect for a quiet glass of wine after a day’s trekking. The buffet breakfast was faultless - every variety of plant milk you could ask for, as well as a barista on hand (extra charge). The location is perfect as well. Short drive to the Visitor’s Centre where you catch a bus to whichever starting point you desire. 10/10. Would happily return and certainly hope to.
