I really can’t fault this place. A day or two ahead of time the emailed the check in info. And everything was a breeze. The cottage was very clean and well furnished with everything you could use. It was easy to find. The rate was very reasonable, especially considering it was only a 20 minutes drive from Cradle Mountain, where the accommodation rates are ridiculous. When we return to the area we will stay again!

Wow!
Such a beautiful spot.

The space is secluded & very indulgent in nature, I just couldn't stop looking at the beautiful surroundings.

They offer WiFi, but if they didn't, I wouldn't care. This is a place to spend time with nature.
I went outside after dark and all I could see were stars. I haven't experienced that since I lived in NZ.

The only advice I could give is, supplying a fluffy bathrobe after that spectacular bath experience. I lapped up the bubblebath, but would've been nice to curl up in a flutty bathrobe.

I actually wish I had spent another night here. 🥺

My husband and I had the most wonderful experience staying at this charming cottage tucked away in the bush. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the soothing sounds of nature and the fresh scent of the trees. The cottage itself was cozy and beautifully decorated, with all the modern amenities we needed while still maintaining a rustic, peaceful charm. A perfect way to celebrate our wedding night. Stayed one night, it was a clean and large comfortable living area. It is about 30 minute drive to the nearest town so get all the groceries before the stay.

Stayed 2 nights last week, received a text a week before with all the check in details. Very easy to find and its only a 20min drive to the Cradle Mountain starting point. The Wellington cabin was clean and tidy. Everything worked. Cabin was nice and warm. Bathroom was large and easy to use. Cooking was easy. While I did not use the spa it looked like a great thing to do.

My husband and I recently stayed in the Roland Cottage for our recent trip to Cradle Mountain. The cottage was perfect for our stay: we made full use of the kitchen, fridge, dishwasher, and bath. The bed was super comfy and had a beautiful view of the forrest. I highly recommend this as a place to stay when visiting Cradle Mountain.

I have been looking forward to Cradle Alpine Retreat and am not usually one who gives a bad review but unfortunately Cradle Alpine Retreat really let me down. I have tried to contact them multiple times for the check in details (I have photo proof) but they did not reply even once at all.

Very unfortunately, I couldn’t fly due to medical grounds and out of 8 accommodations, they are the ONLY accommodation who declined my request to refund.

I just want to let everyone know to book this accommodation with caution. No doubt I am sure the property is pretty and a good choice for stay. But their customer service is really one if not the worst I have encountered.

Very close to Cradle mountains. Houses are surrounded by the nature and there are few Tasmanian pademelons in the backyard! Full set of cooking equipment and cozy jacuzzi for you to relax after a long hike.
